Keeps calling every day and ma****e asks to press 1 to accept call. Avoid!

Annoying.

They call a business, **** up when I answer, I called it back & they wouldn't tell me who they were.  They asked for somebody, I cannot disclose if people work here, I am not a personal secretary!

I have kept getting calls from this number and all it says is Newark NJ. They call before 8 am and never leaves a message.  You can't call back the number because the number dialed is not in service is the message I get.

If the phone number is under your husband Robert's name then that is how they know his name. I wouldn't worry. These ****s purchased a list of 'numbers and names' and they randomly call people in an effort to extract whatever information they can, so that they can try to iden***y theft you or cause other harm. Don't answer. TO ALL POSTERS HERE -- They also make a sick game out of scaring people. Sometimes they call people and tell them that they are under criminal investigation as some sort of a sicko game to scare people. Don't fall for it. It's ridiculous. When they told me that I was under investigation by the authorities I just laughed and ***g up. Anyone who is under any type of investigation will not receive a phone call telling them so. They will receive a knock on the door, followed by certified letters in the mail -- long before any phone call. Authorities don't arrest people over the phone nor by giving them a heads-up warning over the phone that they are going to be arrested or they are under investigation -- never, ever happens that way. Don't believe it. These people are nutjobs.

A woman with a foreign accent claimed to be from the IRS and wanted my bank account number so they could deposit my surplus check on Friday.  I put her on hold and went online to verify before I gave up ANY INFO. Thank God I did.  What a scam!!  Everyone beware!!!  She knew my name but what she didn't know was that she was calling my work phone number and I work for the government!!!  Shame Shame!!
