Anonymous call

The text said that they were sending a cashiers check for next day delivery. The check shows as having been delivered via USPS, but was never delivered. He claims the check is for $1750, $50 dollars to hold the cabinet and the cabinet cost is only $600. Movers do not cost $1150 for one item.

Though these reports are older I wish to respond to this complaint on behalf of Alpha Warranty Services. To clarify, these calls were not coming from Alpha Warranty Services, Inc. Apparently some company was fraudulently using a similar name, "Alpha Service," attempting to offer an extended auto warranty or vehicle service contract. Alpha Warranty Services has never made outbound calls in an attempt to offer vehicle service contracts. In fact, Alpha Warranty Services does not even sell contracts as a company. We authorize retailers to market our service contracts but we do not allow these companies to use any illegal or unethical sales practices per our marketing agreement with them.Recently many companies have been sued both by Attorneys General and the Federal Trade Commission. I keep getting phone calls from this number everyday.  I did pick up and they said the same thing that my warranty was going to expire on my car.  Funny thing I dont personally own a car.  After I questioned him he ***g up.  THis is ridiculous that they keep calling back and I wish so****ing could be done about these do***e bags.  They call my cell phone by the way.
