Cisco Received a very su****ious phone call from 9738840610. The woman on the phone was far from being a professional customer service representative. She cleared her throat a bunch of times, obnoxiously loud. I guess she didn't know how to use the mute ****on. However, as she proceeded to state her business, she said that my June payment is late. I'm not late with my payments, that's the first thing. Then we're in May, so my June payment is not due. I logged into my account, and verified that my payment was indeed received, and that my next payments isn't due for another 2 weeks. As I proceeded to explain that my account is not past due, she unprofessionally exclaimed "I see it right here" ... Well, that's nice, right where? At that moment, my wife walked in the room, and I asked her if she had missed a payment, to which she confirmed that she didn't (mind you, I'm already logged on, and confirmed). As she was replying, the woman said "Oh, yeah, nevermind, I see it, thanks for verifying that for me, and taking care of this with me." To which I replied, that I didn't take care of anything. But before I could get another word in, the line dropped. This has made me su****ious. I have reported it to Kay, and I'm waiting to hear back about whether this is a number they recognize. I must chime in on Rebecca's comment though ... The following numbers all s****ed today as well: 727-556-5492, 206-467-4191, 540-344-2192, 928-819-9901, 206-467-4191, 313-982-9358. Perhaps it is a company contracted to do collections calls, but this made me question why they had my number to begin with. I don't tend to give numbers not in my phone book ANY information, not even my name. If I believe that so****ing is up, I go on the company's website, and I call their customer service number, to confirm whatever was explained to me. Be safe out there, although this may be a legitimate number, it surely raised a few flags in my mind.
