caught by google .... they ***g up

I didn’t answer but they left a message saying it’s a medical alert system blah blah blah.

John T Have received two calls from this number. It's an automated message claiming to be Horizon BCBSNJ. The message s****s with "This is a follow-up for (person's name). Then they give an 877 number to call and a ten-digit 'confirmation code' that you're suppose to use when you call them back. However, when you call the 973 number, their system automatically recognizes the number you're calling 'from', and asks if you are (person's name). You're suppose to answer by voice 'yes' or 'no', and you are not given an option to enter an answer with the keypad. We've called Horizon BCBSNJ at the Customer Service number on our plan card, and they could find no reason why anyone would be calling us about the plan. They were also unaware of any on-going program that would require customers to call an 877 number and entering a confirmation code. W***ver these people are, they have a sophistocated automated system that records audio responses to questions. That being the case, those audio files could be sold to virtually anyone, who could then use them to claim that you agreed to buy a product or service. If you get a call like this, do not call them back. Instead, report it to Horizon BCBSNJ so they can investigate.
