Had the same CHolder Services explaination.  When I asked who they are with "he" ***g up on me.  I believe this company is removing inactive numbers on a list for re-selling purpose's or as Ben stated****entially more devious intentions of solicting senstive data for iden***y theft????

I've received this recording call twice.  They try to make it sound like they're your credit card company (saying they're from card holder services, or so****ing like that), but since they don't mention the card ***nd I'm sure they're not.  The only option is to press 9 to talk to an operator.  I think next time I might try to see what information they're trying to get.  If they're asking for my CC number, I'm calling the police.

They called me about renewing my credit card and getting 6.9% interest.....some thing like this......tried to talk to them and get off the calling list.........but the guy just ***g up....
