"Hi, I'm Mike from the carpet cleaning company..." I'm on national DNC registry. Origin phone number was fraudulent ("disconnected"): 206 855 8239

Have received calls from this number, and also from other numbers that are very similar (1 or 2 digits c****ed in last four number), on a routine basis for months now. Some days it is upwards to 10 x a day! They always ask for someone who is not me. I have been very blunt with them and have told them the person they are asking for is not me and I repeatedly tell them not to call my phone a***n- which by the way is a cell phone and every time they call they are burning my minutes! And always, the very next day, the calls s**** up a***n. If I dont answer they go to voicemail and I end up with a 2 minute long voicemail that is nothing but dead air! The calls s**** in about 7 am and go until 9 or 10pm. I am so sick of this! Anyone know how to go about filing complaint and who exactly I should be filing it with?

This guy keeps phoning us with a pre-recorded message. He says, "Hi, I'm Mike, the Carpet Cleaning Company." bla bla bla If I listen, he will give me a number to call. They **** up on me when I ask the name of the company.

I've received dozens of calls from these idiots over the last year and I have friends in the same boat. You will NEVER get them to stop calling. I just push 1 and wait until the idiot answers and then expess my opinion of them explicitly and as rapidly as possible before they **** up.

Schedule an apointment with the offending company and just don't answer the door. Maybe they'll get the message not to call back.

Speak of the devil!! I just filed a complain about this company, then I receive another call from them. This time, however, they called from a different number:

I received 3 calls from this company within 12 days. It is a pre-recorded message for carpet cleaning. I was not given the option to be removed from the calling list. The number this company called has been on the national do not call registry for over 6 months.

Ma****e dials and if you press 1 you get a live body. If you s**** to ask to have your number removed, they **** up on you. Filed a complaint with the FTC as my number is on the DNC list for the last 4 years.

This caller continues to call me dispite the fact that I am on the no call list. They have called several times this past week at all times of the day. I am recovering from surgery and find getting to the phone difficult. I want this caller to cease calling me.

These people call a lot and won't remove my name. Today they said that if I pay a "FEE" of $20 they will take me off. What a scam!

These people are *****s !!! They called to set up a carpet cleaning visit. Initially I agreed because my carpets can use a cleaning but then thought twice about strangers entering my home from a telemarket so I called their dispatch to cancel. The next morning their guys showed up anyhow. Latino guys who spoke little English. I then received 3 different calls from 3 different phone numbers asking why I cancelled and I gave them a bogus excuse. Two weeks go by and I get 2 calls simultaneously on my 2 lines today from the same *****s. If they have 503 compaints, why has ***ody reported them to the FCC or FTC yet?

Telemarketer has called several times. I have asked to be removed every time. When I request this from the caller, they **** up without another word. When I call back, they say that the call has been removed. They have called more than 8 times since then! I tried to get more information from them by s****ing to schedule an appointment, but when I asked for a phone number to call back, she ***g up without another word. ****s.

Receive calls from this number almost daily. Sometimes it is a recording about carpet cleaning, sometimes it is just clicks and silence. Have called to be removed from calling list, but still receiving calls!

This is obviously not a carpet cleaning co. & there ain't no Mike, but it is a scam w/ a bunch of crooked ***********. Wonder what they are after? Like everyone else, I have been ***g-up on twice, told of $20 fee once to get off calling list (maybe that's the whole scam & some people pay), pushed the #3 ****on 5x's to supposedly get off list, called them left mess. twice, made formal complaint on www.donotcall.gov once - that one I did today. With so many complaints, there's got to be someone like a D.A. to go after them. They'll probably call me next week as usual.

I don't have caller ID. Naively I thought that the call for carpet cleaning was legitimate and gave them my information. After the fact, I realized that things did not sound right and star 69'd then googled the number and was shocked to find the multiple complaints! Needless to say I feel pretty dumb. Any suggestions of what to do now? Thanks

I have received at least 8 calls from this Mike claiming to clean carpet. I have asked to be removed from his list, and I have reported them to the "Do Not Call...." with no success. When I pressed "1" to get the name of the company and told her I was on the "Do Not Call List', the smart-mouthed girl told me that I couldn't do anything about it unless I c****ed my number.

These scammers called to offer a special renewal rate my National Geographic subscription, which they said would expire soon. I asked them specifically if they were calling from National Geographic and they said yes. When I pointed out that my subcription was good for another two years, they ***g up. These people violated the Do Not Call Registry AND misrepresented themselves. Do not buy ANYTHING from these people!

Despite telling this telemarketer to stop calling my number they continue to do it at least once a week. My home number is on the national do not call list.

Tried pressing 1 to talk to representative and was immediately disconnected when I said a was complaining about their calls.

I said no, i want to be taken off the list, and he just ***g up. So I called back to ream him, and the recording said if you want your number removed, press 1, and it confirmed I was removed...I wonder how long until I'm back on.

After pressing one when prompted, woman answered with name of company that I couldn't understand. She asked when I wanted to make an appointment. I said I wanted their name. She ***g up immediately. I get contacted by the carpet cleaning service weekly for 3 months. When prompted after the whole pitch I press the correct ****ons to get removed from their list, it even confirms that I have been removed, but I STILL get called for months now. When I push a ****on to talk to a customer service rep to set up an appt and tell them I need to be removed from the list, I get ***g up. I am FED up with them.

They call my house a cell phone 1-2 times daily. It talked about refinancing your mortgage press 1 for an agent, press 8 to remove your number. Well We have pressed 8 all times and they still keep calling. Anyone know how to get them to stop?
