R.J. Rotciv Ailgattab 1st , they called from 832-772-7076 and asked me to call 979-772-7076. I called the 1st #. Answered the Dept of U.S. Grants and they asked for my pin #. I Told them I got call from the 832 # which they said was in Houston or Austin. The lady assured me I was talking to the fed. gov't. I asked for an address and they asked if I was coming in. I said yes and they hung up. I think it is a scam.

Oh another comment too. My phone id said phone call was Allen, TX. the map that locates the phone has a different town for the phone #.

My call said I had received a ten thousand government grant. Call back and they will deposit it in my bank account immediately. Interesting since Alex below says that number was a department phone number. I was going to go to the bank and lets set up a fake account and see what happens, but changed my mind.

Alex Todd I received a call from an unrecognized Texas phone number - so I let the call roll over to voicemail. The message I received was automated stating the following: “... on our department phone number 979-583-9669 I repeat 979-583-9669 thank you…” I won’t be calling back.

called to tell me they wanted me to call so they could put a grant in my checking account. I don't think I will give them my checking account number. Sounds like a scam tome.

this same number has also called me and told me that i recieved $250.00 in a payday loan back in september of 2008 and the interest had built up to over 730 dollars. they were telling me that come to my job and arrest me if i didnt pay them in full within 48-72 hours. the first person i talked to was a little hard to understand. the next lady i talked to was very jumpy and almost anxious to get off the phone with me, she stuttered on some of her words, like she knew i knew that it was a scam... when i told them that they had no proof and that i could get proof they said "ma'am you are going to find out exactly how big of a scam this is when your husband is being arrested on his jobsite" please be careful about who you give your information to and if they ask for any specifics like your DL # or your SSN please ask for credentials that can be mailed or faxed and make sure they have a state or county seal on them.

I was contacted today by a man with a deep Indian accent. I told him that i couldn't understand him and to put someone on the phone that i could understand. so he put on a woman named Johnnie she stated that i was being taken to civil court in two hours and they needed to know my lawyer's name and that they were calling in regards to a payday loan that i received in February that was never paid back. i told them that there information was wrong and to give me the number to the company that i signed the loan documents with they said that they didn't have that information but they gave me this phone number to speak with someone. so i called and her name was Megan and she said all the same stuff almost word for word. kinda funny the original phone number that i received the call from is 727-493-4835. definitely a scam.

I am desperate to know who is callintg me from this number because they call me all the time just playing pranks and texting me talking s**t(excuse my language). He calls himself Paco but not sure if he is tellin the truth. I dont evn know how he got my number.
