No one I know. Hung up when I answered.
If you have caller ID and you see them calling again, simply the answer the phone like this "Doctor's office". You will catch them off guard and confuse them. Just keep saying "Doctor's office, can I help you?" and they'll probably just hang up and never call again because they'll think they have the wrong number. lol It works!!
I'm also on the DNC list. That 866-432-4100 phone number you suggested goes to a company called "Dial America", which not surprisingly, is a telemarketing firm with God knows how many clients. Rodale Press is just one of them. It's the weekend, so I could not get anyone on the phone, but I'll give them a call on Monday. I've had 13 calls from Rodale Press at 201-215-1700 in the last two weeks. They were told the first call not to call back. Now I'll try your suggestion of calling 866-432-4100 and if there are any more calls, I'll file complaints with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. I have internet telephone service via PhonePower, and I am able to download the phone logs, so I have precise documentation of when these fools called. So if you're able to, file your complaints with the FCC online, and fax them a copy of the phone logs like I will. Also, most states have a state equivalent of the FCC consumer complaint web site. Most likely, you'll find a link to file complaints against telemarketers if you go to your state attorney general's website. In PA, that would be http://dnc.attorneygeneral.gov/verification.aspx.

Calling us late at night to sell us magazines. We have asked them to put us on the do not call list yet they keep calling.
I've gotten a couple of hang ups on my answering machine with a corresponding caller ID of Rodale Press for this number. I suspect that this might be spoofed.
Yep, they call me every day. It's Rodale press. I think they are a magazine subscription telemarketer. I don't answer when I see their caller ID anymore. I have signed up to dontocall.gov numerous times and the solicitors and telemarketers just keep a calling. They don't care because the government won't do anything to them and they know it.
I'm on the DNC list and I'm called a few times a week. Thanks BL for the customer service number (866-432-4100). It was answered promptly and the agent was very polite. Allegedly, my number is going to be removed in a day or two.
Their customer service # is 1-866-432-4100 if anyone wants to give 'em a call and get off the list. Remember to document when you talked with them so if they keep calling you can report them!
Called several times over 10 days. There is a www.rodalepress.com and they have to do with books and magazines. We used our phone to block the call now a nice option to have. We are on the DNC too.
called - I said hello several times but no one answered. I am on the no call list!
Came up on ID as Magazine Subscription. Other sites say this is probably DialAmerica. I'm on DNC list and never requested the free crappy magazines they have been sending. Reported them for DNC violation and next stop is the Florida AG site ;)
Calls often at different times of the day. Does not leave message. When I answer, they hang up or a recording comes on saying that it is Rodele Press with a telemarketing call and that they will call back later. But I answered the phone!
9-8-08 called and wanted to talk to husband would not leave a message so toldthem not to call back
called and no one on the other end when I picked up line. I am on the DNC list.
Rodale Press. Women's Health Magazine renewal. They called 5 times today, leave no message but I remember that it was Rodale when I got the subscription. Don't want to renew.
Calling my MOM and asking for me! How they got her number I have no idea. Very rude people. Won't leave message nor tell her what they want. They simply keep telling her that *MUST* speak with me. Called 4 days in a row now. Her number is also on the DNC list.
I have begun keeping a log with the date and time I get calls from this number. I was told by a co-worker that if we could provide the dates and times to the DNC Registry, they company would be fined for each time they called.
Called. I picked up and was silent. They said hello and knew my name... I hung up... I am looking for a great comeback line to all these telemarketers... Got any?
Calls every day-no messages. I picked up and they wanted to renew a subscription to a magazine that I didn't want to renew...Women's Health.
Calls everyday, but no messages like everyone else.

Called my personal cell phone and didn't leave a message. My cell is on the Do Not Call List.
Received call today (Clearwater, FL). Did not answer.
They call everyday, when I answered the one time, it was a message stating something about telemarketers, and they would call back later.
