They have been calling my number for months leaving threatening messages. When you return the calls Robert Beano ****s up on you. The answering ma****g stated that it is Sherlock Grisby's office. These guys are scammers and need to be shut down.

called me and said my mother had bad checks out. she is 84 blind and deaf. they called and transferd me to someone eles and got mad at because i didnt know some file number they wanted. when i ask what the call was about she s****ed getting loud and rude and theartend to have my mother arested, i tried to call the # back all i got was a answering ma****e.

i was ****** and gave them my work place and two refrences thinking i could do like a payment plan or so****ing and she told me i could settle today if i pay in two hours and then i saw this sight i hope they wont harass my job but im not paying them anything

I too recieved this threanting call. I did find the message to be funny though as they ended the cal with good luck. Idiots.......

I received a call from this number too today, threatening that they're going to press felony charges a***nst me for a bad check I wrote in 2008 through National City... Had some info on me that made me believe this was true... I like an idiot paid them $800 w/my debit... after I ***g up from this threating phone call, I called my boyfriend who happens to be a criminal defense lawyer, who told me that even IF I did write a bad check years ago, THIS would NEVER happen this way. I checked my acct. and googled the name that debitted my acct, turns out the company is listed in NY and not DC like the "secretary" told me they were located in... Also, "Nancy ***dley" is NOT an lawyer.. My boyfriend looked up that name and not one single person comes up w/that name as a lawyer... we have now contacted the Federal Trade Commision, my current bank the charges were debitted out of, and will eventually file charges a***nst these low rotten s*** bags... I've been SO stressed about these people, it's just down right rotten what they are doing to people... Mind you I called the number they called me from and it's a cell phone and they're no longer taking my calls....... well I'm at least thankful I have the right resources to catch these slime*****.... PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!

Same situation. They called Threatened to send the two affidavits to the state UNLESS I could send payment right now over the phone. I called the sheriff's office and they said it was a scam not to send any money. I did some research and found that they are a real "company" but probably just a shell or front of some kind for a scam.

why would a bill collector be calling from a cell phone by Sprint?

I got a threatening call from 202-239-0405. Said that I have returned checks( I don't have any checks and don't even use them. I only use my debit card) and they need to be addressed immediately. And they have 2 affidavits for me for fraud and that if I don't call they will forward it to the state. They left this message on my answering ma****e including my SS #. I never call anyone back I don't know so I goggled the number and it comes back saying it is a Wireless number... now don't that seem odd for a bill collector? And who are they to threaten me. Telling me have my attorney or myself call them. Isn't it wrong for these folks to threaten a person? Or leave your SS# on the answering ma****e for all to hear? The scared the heck out of me, not sure if I should call the or the authorities. I am a single income family living on meager means here. Any advice here is really appreciated. Who are these people calling my phone? I can't afford any trouble we have enough financial issues to deal with right now. As we all do I'm sure
