Had an accent, and claimed I committed fraud with my taxes. They said if I didn't pay my taxes today that they would freeze my possessions (car, bank account, job income) and within 24 hours the sheriff would knock on my door and arrest me. I checked the IRS web site, and the front page warns a***nst this sort of call.

Got a phone call telling me that there was a miscalculation in my taxes and that if I didn't comply, that they would send the sheriffs dept. to arrest me. They all had an India accent.

I got several calls from this number and also messege that i am a prime suspect of IRS. I am and old lady who knows nothing about this stuff and almost had a heart attack. When I called back he made personal attacks without giving any info as to what went wrong. when I asked that send me all paper do***ents he said oh yes sheriff will deliver them when he will come to arrest you. I suffer from anxiety and depression already due to my age and he almost caused me my life. I wish he gets back for what he is doing to innocent people.

I got a call this morning at 6 am . stating I owe money and I will have a criminal action a***nst me if I don't call back. I didn't call the number back instead I looked it up and found all this helpful info. Good luck everyone. I hope they catch these loser's.

I had several calls from a guy named Thomas, I could not make out his last, saying he was from the IRS and there problems with my taxes. He made threats on my voice may and to me personally, about criminal action. if this number, 202-506-9841 or 202-506-9723 show up on your caller ID do not answer it.

scam claiming to be irs> there is a page on the irs website talking about this scam. they need to be arrested

Yes they called me today stating (and about 2 weeks ago) me or my attorney has to call the IRS immediately as a theft file was sent to them a***nst me.

Yes they call me at home and at work at least 15 times in the last two months

He called me and told I was going to jail if I didn't pay 825.00 to irs and when I told him I knew he was fake he called me a ***king ***** I called the police on him now. He's not picking up.

Called asking if you have a criminal lawyer and that the irs will be coming to arrest you in 72 hours.
