Yes they are the Keenan Law Firm (NOT!) out of Georgia when they called my house phone to tell me i won 250,000 but of course they needed 525.08 to re-issue the check since it was up for cancellation. When givin the contact number for the Bank of America ***nch i insisted that i wanted to take the info into the local Bank of America ***nch in our town. The woman who helped us, at our local bank ***nch. told us that indeed this was a scam said that Bank of America NEVER asks for money to receive money. Right there should be the end of the conversation. ***** rotten scoundrels is what they are! i'm afraid not much can be done to catch these criminals. We need to educate people as to the dangers of telephone and internet scam artists like this one. They are obviously having luck at what they are doing as they are still running the same scam for some time now.

Well, they are still at it! Received a call today (05/05/2011) from the same people, except this time they used the Keenan Law firm out of Atlanta Ga. I had won $150,000 and if I sent $485.10 (using the "Geen Dot ****od") they would resubmit my paperwork and have my check sent to me.I looked up the Keenan Law firm on the internet and called their office. Guess what? They never heard of these folks!  (Cheating s***bags!)I filed an official complaint with the FTC. Hope they catch these guys and I wish they would bring them by my house. I've got a prize for them!

I was told to call this number at Bank of America to receive my winnings of $175000. When they said I had to pay over $400.00 in handling fees. I knew it was a scam. You don’t have to pay for so****ing you already won.They claimed to be a law firm in Chattanooga Tenn. called Luther-Anderson. I supposedly won it on line from American Shoppers Network.

outrageous. i called bank of america the fake one and I knew it was a scam when these two things happened.1. they answered the phone on the first ring. I do Loan Modifications and Short Sales, Not ONE bank on the face of the earth NOT ONE answers on the first ring. I recording may pick up, but a human. NOPE2. I asked to speak to a manager, by saying very specifically " is there a manager available I can speak to?" they say yes, of course may I ask who I am speaking with etc... after I give him my information I ask for the manager a***n. He said " I am the CEO of this department!" HAHAHA what country are you from? We don't have CEO of departments at banks in America, nevermind at Bank of AMERICA. Beware

Received a call from a lady who said she was with Kir****d-Ellis Law Firm. Her name was Patricia Thorpe, and they had a certified cashiers check for me.

I also received the same scam phone call from the same above mentioned "Patricia Thorp."I called having the same info above, right after Patricia" called me back, and was told that she was not in today.  She represents herself as an employee of Kir****d and Ellis as well.

This number called me on my cell phone. The caller identified herself as a Patricia Thrope working with Kir****d and Ellis law firm in D.C. . She was claiming that I had won 250,000 dollars from being entered into a sweepstakes by shopping at walmart or target. All she I had to do now was call a Bank of America at 404-462-1319 to identify myself so they could release my said check. Patricia did not ask for any other information other than if I was married, a senior citizen, and the name of the bank that I use. When I asked the address of her office location I was put on hold for about two minutes. I had already had the Kir****d and Elllis law firm website loaded and was testing to see what she had to say was accurate, indeed it was, she read it perfectly off of the website, I know this because I called the actual law firm and asked if there was anyone who worked for them with the name Patricia Thrope. They said no. I called her back to tell her that she was caught and to just quit bothering people, she replied I will tell the government that you thought this was a scam and you just wont get your 250,000 dollars.......RIGHT.The number that she gave me to the "Bank of America" was traced to Sandy Springs, GA. I decided to call and see what they had to say. A man named Michael Anthony Smith answered the phone claiming to be working at a Bank of America ***nch. I asked him if the address of the ***nch was 6075 Roswell Rd., NE Atlanta GA 30328 the ***nch in the Sandy Springs area. He said yes sir it is. Ok cool, but how come your ***nch is closed today and you are there? ........CLICK...... we have ice on our roads and many businesses are closed this week, they are closed and it was posted on the Bank of America website.some other information i was givin:the check number i was supposed to call about: 0347927the ID number to go with the check:  8865
