Leave a CommentThe person asked for me, and I just asked what the call was in regards to. Spammer said a few sentences with a heavy accent (Philipino?) and I could not make out anything...I think I may have heard "IRS" somewhere in there. Twice I just said I could not understand the person (in a stern voice) and the person ***g up.
They are still using this number. Now via text message, saying a warrant will be issued unless I call the number back.
About me committing tax fraud. Calls me every day
I suspected that this was a scam. The caller ID gave a "Mary Alexander" as the name- -- number was 202-239-5421, and not the ID of the IRS office!!! ****er, you got to come at me with one better than that. They had the nerve to call at least 3 times. I picked up on the 3rd call, and told them "OK, I guess you have to put the warrant out for my arrest, because not only am I not giving you my information, but I'm ****ing up"!
Poor grammar was a dead give away; they now use a computer generated voice to tell you that you are about to be sued by IRS......... huge scam.....
IRS Scam ,said i had a warrant out for me . I just laughed at the guy and he ***g up .
Ditto! SCAM!
Got a call from this CLOWN about a fraud. Sam Watson my****!!! Note to spammer....when you try to ***** somebody over learn how to speak good ENGLI****** I couldn't even understand you clear enough to know where to send my SS number and bank account number.
SCAM! Message left on answering ma****e from Sam Watson. Heavy Indian accent. Said he was from IRS and was calling about audit and possible warrant.
SCAM! Man with a heavy accent left voicemail. He claimed to be an IRS agent and to contact him with my social security number. He said it was regarding an audit and if I did not call there would be a warrant issued for my arrest.
OBVIOUS SCAM -- DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION. A guy with an Indian or ****stani accent, calling himself "Robert Marshall", left two messages asking for my wife. Mentioned so****ing about IRS, audit, and social security number, all very hard to hear because the connection was breaking up badly both times. I returned the call to confront this obvious scammer. Connection was very bad, breaking up constantly. Called a***n. A very gruff Mr. "Marshall" insisted on getting my name. Of course I refused. I pressed HIM for information and after a while he ***g up on me. OBVIOUS SCAMMER.
202-239-5421 ext 402 Sam Watson Said there was fraud on my wife's name and asked for the info
This is not the IRS do not give them any information.
Got the same call from someone named Peter with the same info although he is hard to understand. I deleted the message immediately.
Received same call.Same voice. Same message as others at 3:15 pm on 8/27/2014
I received message from same guy, Indian accent, Peter Collins, indicating he was from IRS and they have a case file a***n our name and ss # and for us to call him back or our attorney, otherwise they will issue an arrest warrant. Rec'd call 8/27/2014.
Watch out, a scammer is using this number! I got a threatening message from a heavy accented "Peter Collins" who claimed to be from the IRS. His English was broken and incoherent. He said that there was "a case filed a***nst my name and social security number" and either myself or my attorney needed to call him back immediately. If I didn't call him, I'd be issued an arrest warrant and be responsible for legal consequences. Obviously I didn't call him. This is the same scam reported by several others for 585-633-**** numbers (only now they're able to fake a Washington DC number!), and Peter Collins was one of the names used there too. Internet searches indicate that "Peter Collins" has also been used in Central Bank of Nigeria scams.
I got a call from man with foreign accent saying he was with IRS about a fraud matter. i told him ok since i dont believe you are the IRS calling, give me a number to call you back "at the IRS"... immediate **** up, so yeah fraud scam, con whatever...
