got the same message...there is a lawsuit from IRS...sure since when IRS hires people to call....

I got same call from this guy saying IRS put lawsuit a***nst me, clear a scam, he even did not use my real name. IRS does not call if there is so****ing wrong with your tax file rather sends letter. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

This guy Jason Smith had called and left me the same message as everyone had received here. I called FBI and they told me to contact 877-382-4357 and lodge a complaint.

Very suspect sounding phone message. So, I am glad that I checked it out before calling back. He said the IRS was s****ing a law suit a***nst me.

They called and left a message for me, not even using my real name, that the irs wants to file a lawsuit a***nst me. Clearly a scam, the Irs would not use anything but your "government name" and they would not just call.

We got a call from this guy "Jason Smith" saying he was the IRS. (he sounds like he is from India) He said it was regarding my taxes. I talked to IRS and this is defiantly a scam! DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY!!

Received a call from this number from a guy named Jason Smith with a very heavy accent stating that he is from IRS. He said that IRS did an audit of my personal tax returns and discovered a mistake on my tax return from 2004 until last year and he wants to help me to rectify the mistake. I received calls from similar #s before threatening me and my husband that we will get arrested for some reason. I searched that # and found out that some scammers are calling from 202 # and threaten people that they will get arrested. This time I asked him if he really is from IRS or is he a scammer calling me. He got really upset and said I will know when IRS will send police to arrest me and ***g up. I am sure these are the scammers calling people to get money or IRS would never contact people thru phone.
