I got an unknown # saying I was approved for a govt grant for 7000.00 and all i had to do was go get a gift card from walmart or give my bank acct #. I told him i didnt trust him to give him my bank info. lol he said" thank u for not trusting me" lol i said "ur welcome" he gave me a phone # of a guy named John Williams 202-470-1385. I asked him to connect me to the federal reseved bank were the funds would be wired into my account after i paid the $120.00 within 4 mins i would have my 7000.00. lol do these ppl think we are ******. if the govt gave us a grant they would already know are date of birth.

This is such a poor attempt to scam folks. I told them to contact my attorney to arrange the process....they ***g up on me.

yea they actually had me send some and even wanted to send 1100 thay crazy the biggest scam around but I'm gone get to the bottom of this

well i got the call saiy i got a  goverment grant that i had singed up for all i had to do was send then $190 and then they could send me the $5,000 i said sure it ok i stop my self once they said the money had to go to inda i told them that no money of my is going there becouse if it was the goverment that want it it would say in the US and then i ***g up with them they are still call me. i just send them to voice mail.

they call me today and said if i go to western union  and  send 190.00 i would receive 5000.00 back along with the 190.00

i got a same call from US grant department and tey told me to dposit $190 thru WU n i did . after 20mnts i got a call from a guy he was da verification officer n after tat he released da sam amnt.

Recevied a call from a man with accent named Keny Ryan wanted to verify my address and age. Gave me an approval code, manager name  and number to call and claim my $5000. grant from the US Gov't. Grants Dept.  When I called the number 202-239-7448 I asked where they were located and what there street address was.  200 Independence Blvd. Wash DC. Then I ask for her Gov't ID # she ***g.

i will say they are persistent. this is the second time they have called me.

I got a call today. The guy dad his name was James n the number he called from was blocked. He gave me the Debbie lady's number n it did say magic jack customer. They already knew my name n address and gave me three options to receive the money, I just had to send someone else $190 just to get the 5k n i would get my money back..smh

I just got a call from that heavy accent person stating i got a grant for 5k, and to speak with a Debbie Bennett, when i called the number it was message from magic jack to leave a msg. i ***g up, total scam

its a fraud dont give them anything report them to FTC, IC3, state attorney general and your local police I did.

Wanted me to wire money

I don't know, but this was the number I was given after some man called me and said I have won $5000 dollars from the government, he gave some phoney name saying he was from the US Government  Grant Department in Washington...and needed my address.  Hmm Obviously had a laugh and wasted 5 minutes of him time, but he was obviously after my bank account number ...i said send the check to Disney Way.  Total scam....Very sad I've come off the phone but some people will fall for it.
