Has anyone applied for health insurance online just prior to getting these calls. The only time I have given out my cell number was recently on two websites for health insurance. Seems funny that I am now receiving calls from this number. If anyone has recently given out their number you should post who it was. There might be a connection. Just a thought. On the upside. Glad I didn't answer. Now when I call back I will be prepared.

i got a phone call from them a few weeks ago. they said they was from the us government saying i was chosen to receive 5600 but they needed a debit card number so i gave them my old prepaid credit card number the card only had 17 cents on it so i wasnt about to loose anything. but they next day dar was no money and i just shrugged it off i kinda figured it was a scam. but then the man called me and told me to go to the nearest western union i would receive my money there so i went and when i got there they told me i had 2 send them 250 to ensure my iden***y i told the man he was crazi and i wasnt given him a dime because you have to show id 2 pick up money so that should verify who i am. they keep going saying they would stay on the phone with me till i received the money needless to say they didt want me to call no1 else but i ***g up and reported them to western union and to the fbi because they were posing as us government officials which is a***nst the law this is clearly a scam dont fall 4 it.

My husband got a call from the same number asking for his bank account number then they called back saying that it didn't work and to go to western union to send $130.00 then we would receive $5600.00 back in like 10 minutes. good thing we came home and looked up the number before we did any thing. How come we are not able to report these people? I mean they use the same number every time yet nothing is being done. I hate people who have nothing else better to do with there life other than mess with some ones time and money

Good for you. That **** did the same thing to me. I was so excited and hopeful. I really needed the money, as all of us do. I too didn't give out my personal info, and even went as far as to tell him on the phone that I didn't have any $$ so to not waste my time. He told me that he would call me the next day to do the $$ transfer, went to the western union and was told send him $130 to verify who I was. Ya right!!

I am a Western Union agent and can tell you 150% that this is a SCAM! Please, dont give any personal information out to anyone that is calling you. DON'T GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE. If the caller says that is about your account, then they WILL have access to the information they need and will not ask you to provide any of that. If you do give out your account numbers, you need to call your bank or the company that holds your credit account and explain what happened and they will shut the account down before too much damage is done. If you give out your SSN, call the SS administration office and tell the what happened, they will tell you what you need to do. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!

these people are very consistent..!!! they scammed me before thinkn im so ****** not to kno its the same person...they got 300 dollars from me while i was thinking i was paying off a loan.. now talkin about some 5600 dollars dude b real...im not******!!! I'm so glad I looked this phone number up. I just got 2 phone calls from a woman named Jennifer. She said the exact same thing. I told her i wouldn't be giving her any information and she said she understood and to call her back when i was ready to receive my money. What a joke!! Who do you report these people to???

Well, it looks like Mr. Nick the slick foster has struck a***n! He almost baffled us into thinking we were getting some fast govt. cash tomorrow, well no such luck. I hope that you have seen these Mr. Foster or whatever your freakin name is and are feeling pretty dumb when I call you back and rip you a new one! Says that i got a money from the goverment that I NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE TO PAY BACK... And of course they needed a card number that is a online transfer.. So i do have a card but not stupit to give out the info.. So my stupit a** goes to wall mart and buy those prepaid card.. and said, "ok if this s**t is real, Good for me, and if not.. oh well" FkErs.......so  then they said they could not do it... And then they wanted me to go to a wester union place.. and call wen i got there... And I'm sooo busy.. So that's wen i decided to get online and do a research on that number... I just received a call from"Nick Foster" saying I was eligible to receive $5000 tax credit from the U.S. Government Financial Department of D.C. when I told him I pulled up this number from this website he ***g up on me. Beware this number (202) 436-9039 it is definitely a scam!

The number that called me was 206-855-6577 and the "Indian" guys name was James Williams....That alone made me su****ious and then he said he was with the government and said he had a $5600 grant for me and that I was randomly selected, only 2450 U.S. citizens were selected for this.....Then the joker asked for my bank/debit account to wire me the money by tomorrow morning....And when I said to him when so****ing sounds too good to be true, it usually is and then he got a at***ude with me....Easily a scam….Don’t get fooled by this one.

I received a phone call from this number, saying his name was nick foster. he the proclaimed that i have been approved for a government grant of $5600. he said he would have to western union it, but for me to bring $230.00. I ***G UP...........

got a call from 202-436-9039 a guy saying his name was nick foster and that i qualifed to receve 5600 from a government program and i didn't have to pay it back all i had to do to get the money was go to western union and call him back and he would tell me where to wire him 190.00 i would then receve the 5600 and then with in 10 minutes i would get my money back i called them back 10 minutes later he ansered u s government nick foster s***king i told him i was at western union he said to get the form and he would tell me who to wire the 190.00 to then i put my wife on the phone she said she was an erie police detective and that she was in touch with the fbi all my wife herd was "OH S**T" then the line went dead so scam what do you think.

I recieved a call from this gut who said he was from the U.S. Finance Department stating that I qualified for a $5600 educational tax credit. They asked for my credit card number and said that I could have it as early as tomorrow, I informed him that I had no credit card and asked him to just send me the check through the mail. He then said that he could send it to me by western union. He said that I needed to send $190.00 to him to recieve the $5600 and that I would get the money right away and in ten minutes I would get the $190.00 back after I recieved the $5600. Sounds very su****ious and am calling the BBB.
