Non-profits do not apply to the do not call registry. I just got the call... they did leave a message saying it was a survey and they may try later. Lucky us.

I looked up nationformarriage.org as Artemus 16 Oct 2009 suggested. However, the phone number on the website has been c****ed to (609) 688-0450. I spoke to someone at that number and they said, yes, in fact they have sent out such automated messages recently asking, "ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE IN NJ". I gave them my phone number and the person I spoke to told me it would be addED to their do-not-call list (even though I already registered with the DO-NOT-CALL list several weeks ago). We'll see if this works. I am doubtful. ~Kentt.

These calls are robo calls sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage, a non-profit organization located at 20 Nassau St., Suite 242, Princeton, NJ 08542. Tel. # 609 688-0452. Their mission is to protect traditional marriage, family and the faith communities that sustain these values.  Their current survey is attempting to solicit opinions about same-*** marriage. Call them at their local # and complain if you don't want to receive their calls. Or log on to their website: nationformarriage.org if your want to know more about their program.

political idiots!!!!  i do not care how washington is being ran as i have yet in the last 25 years or so agreed with anything they have done ... with so few exceptions i could count them on one hand with digits still unassigned.  waste some other poor persons time and energy please. they claim to be surveying opinions but when you are not the group they want they drop the call so that their stats are more favorable to what they are pushing in washington... should be illegal

Getting a call on your cell at 4:30 AM can cause a lot of alarm - at that hour it only could be an emergency, right?  Not.  No answer.  I guess from the other posts, it was probably a political call that somehow made it to my cell phone?  :(

robo-call political survey.  asked if registered to vote, then asked if pro-life, that's it.  didn't think **** like this could call cell phones

survey robo call on CELL phone. Wish there was a way to track down these illegal phone calls and charge the people responsible.

called my cell phone, left no message.  reverse lookup says it is a landline from Washington, DC and is a private number. So don't think I missed anything by not answering.  have landline on do not call list, did not think they were allowed to call your cell phone. guess i will have to get that on the do not call list now also.  very annoying.

I dunno what it is. I got the call on my cellphone and all i heard was "survey" and "register". I ***g up right away. My brother was yelling though so im not completely sure what it was about, but the thing that bugs me that really bugs me is im FOURTEEN YEARD OLD! why is DC calling ME?

I actually got up from reading my son a story to see if this was important.  Go away. Life is too short for ****** unsolicited phone ad calls.

I have gotten  that same call twice  today and thought it was important  and just a prank caller leave me alone
