They say they are an "Officer" calling from "The Washington Field Office,  Department of Justice of the United States".  All bogus!  I made them tell me if if was a government agency or not.  They said "no"... "it is a legal law firm".  Their client was PayDay Loans.  They're trying to sound like a government agency.  On this website (at bottom of this page) it looks like they are really calling from Cairo, Egypt.

Called claiming a lawsuit a***nst me, would not give me any info about the company he was with or which "law firm" he was with, obvious fraud and a scam. He goes by the name of martin but speaks in a foriegn langauge could barely understand, called numerous times.

Any idea who could call from this phone number.

This number called a few weeks ago, and I could barely understand the message that was left. Broken English and then message itself kept cutting out. Always calls as Shawn Martin claiming a lawsuit has been filed a***nst me. Called 5 times in a 3 minute span today.

I keep getting calls from this number a guy that does not speak English well at all can barely understand what he is saying calls himself officer William Black saying we owe money to some place called money cash advance but he can help us if we pay him $450.00 but only with a Walmart visa card because it would be better for us. Give me a break it's a total scam he actually told me to let my husband make his own decisions because I asked for too much info.

I keep getting calls from this number. At one time he called 7 times early in the morning. It's a man that you can barely understand with horrible English. He is lying about being an officer and got scared when I told him I'm reporting him to the police.

I got the same phone call today from Officer Shawn Martin with phone #202-***-0691.

I am getting calls at work from this guy telling me he is going to file charges aginst me on some debt but he will not give the inof what debt or mail my attorney specifics. This is an odvious fraud. but is becoming very annoying.

This number called saying that he was going to put a warrant out on me for a unpaid cash advance. He went through a long spill then said I owed $1215! I told him I was recording the conversation and passing it on to my lawyer. I also said that I wanted everything in writting to be mailed to me. He wanted to argue but I ***g up, after I told him I knew this was fraudulent and I was going to report him for telephone fraud! Gee***

Foreign guy with bad English says he's Officer Shawn Martin investigating “the person s name” They were asking for. Just last week different phone number saying he was officer Eon Bishop. 347-441-4111. Seriously?! Wish these guys would be found!
