Leave a CommentHe text me about my Macbook for sale on CList. After a few exc****es it was clear he was a scammer. I asked him direct if he was a full time Paypal scammer and he said yes. Can't get much more plain than that.
He wanted to buy my laptop...BUT because of all your comments i beat him to the punch...told him where he was from, worked on a ship, ship to the UK...thank you for the heads up
Advertised on Craigslist and was contacted by the individual wanted to buy my sale item. Asked for my bank information so that he could send me the purchased price and have the item shipped to London UK. Since I did not want to give him that info he suggested my paypal acct. Asking me to request money from him. Just sounded to fishy. Offered to take the item with me on my trip past Washington DC and said he was working on a ship and was an engineer and unable to do that. Kept dodging me. I feel very uneasy about the transaction and think he is a scammer.
