Vanessa They sent a text Monday 4/30/12 and today 5/2/12 saying my card has been locked please call 213-799-0779 to correct this action. It is a scam to get your card info and pin so they can steal your money. Sun Trust Bank will NEVER send you a text message regarding this and they will never ask for your pin number.

Drea I'm in the middle of a work meeting, I get a call from 213-799-0709 out of Los Angeles, California. I don't know anyone in LA, CA, I let it go to voicemail. After the meeting, I check for a voicemail and there is one. A female computer voice left a snippet of message , "(voicemail begins)...press 1 now and you will be transfered to our 24 hour security...(voicemail ends)". I call the number back, no ring and no connection happens. I try a couple more times with a 1+, same thing. I Google the number and find 800notes.com, my su****ions are confirmed. Phone Scammers trolling for PCI and PII info.

Carol MacDonald I got a phone call that my credit card had been locked and to dial 1 for Chase Security. When I did so, there was no answer. Upon returning home, found that the card had not been locked but that my husband had gotten a similar call from a different phone number!

Drifter33 I received a call from this number today. A recorded message stated that my account "has been locked." The recording then prompted me to press 1 if I wished to unlock my account or 2 if I "wished to leave." By this point I'm thinking this is a scam to get my card info. I was right. I hit 1 to see what it would prompt me to do after that. I was told to enter my "16-digit credit card number followed by pound." I waited. I recorded the silence and asked if I wanted to enter my card number or leave a***n. So I ***g up and called the number back several times and each time it would pick up the line, it ***g up on me after 3-4 seconds. SCAM TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

Received three calls from this fake debt collector this week. The first time he called, I told him to stop calling the house. The second time he called, my mom blasted him into outer ****e. The third time he called, I simply ***g up. He left a message on my answering ma****e anyway. Don't know who this guy is. Sounds Indian, though. This guy has been stating that he's from ACS (who the***** is that company?). I vehemently refuse to give him any of my personal info. According to Phonepuppy.com, this phone number links to a landline phone in Los Angeles, CA under a carrier called Pac-West Telecomm, Inc.

Pickitchewit 213-799-0785 was an agency to book a "free" scan at Heart Check America.  HCA provides a legitimate body scanning service... but, from what I've found on the internet, their going to sell you ******* a multi-year service / package that "may save your life".  If you're strong enough to say "no" to timeshare pitches... then there should be no harm in getting a free scan that will normally cost you $350+.

Anonymous I received a phone call that I suspected to be a phishing scam, about 2 hours before my credit card company called me about three attempted fraudulent charges.  The credit card company confirmed that they were not responsible for the earlier phone call.
