The man called be at 8:05 PM at night, asking for me by name & said he was PGW. I told him he had the wrong # & hung up. When I called the # back there was an automated message saying if someone called me from this # it was to conduct a survey. Definitely a Scammer. BEWARE.

I received a call from this # today and when I dialed back an answering machine came on and said I called "BCR". It then asked me to stay on the line for the next representative. They also called my cell #.More than likely it is from a bill collector.

Josh I got a call from this number from someone trying to find my ex-wife.  I think the company was G.C.C.

Received two calls on two different days, with no message.  I called back & they said they were MRS, a financial services company.

This is harassment!  I get calls as early as 8:15 in the morning and after 9:00 in the evening.  No one is ever on the other line.  I called the phone company and was told that they couldn't trace the number without a zip code.  I hope whoever is calling that they get caught and are dealt with severely by the authorities!

RICH Caller ID says "Philadelphia PA."  I never pick up crap like that but let the answering machine do it.  Telemarkers then hang up.  Remember- if it's important, they'll leve a message.

Caller ID shows unknown. I called number and got a recorded message identifying the number as Discover card. They are offering promos.

I am not a Capital One customer and get a dozen calls a day.  I spoke to a woman in service who said she deleted my number from their system but continue to recieve calls.  I emailed their Senior VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary [email protected] and within hours recieved a vmail from Erica "executive assistant" 804-968-3371 - unfortunately I was in a meeting so this is still not resolved.I suggest everyone email and call the heck out of these two the way their company phonebots call us and see how they like it.  I for one will never use Capital One.

call comes from a voice recording from england, 3x a day every single day. It does not stop it is really annoying.

It seems that scammers (including profoundly rude and bill collectors/sharks) are using fake caller-ids comensurate with a person's area code to look like it is a local call.  Hence, the likleyhood of someone answering the telephone because it appears as a local call.Bottom line, it is unwise to answer your telephone unless you recognize a specific person's phone number....especialy in this economic climate.
