Ray Since I do not know this number on by cell phone, I do not answer. The few times a message was left a male or female, sounding very stern, demands a call back by 11 p.m. Without any other information to go on, this is not going to happen.

slogar1 Like the others, got a call from Gina Gable "recruiter" that got my resume from Monster.com. Not sure what to think so I'm going to check out the website, but calling me 8 pm. on a Sunday night does not bode well.

ITech I got a call from this Gina Gable this morning, why should I be careful?  I'm glad there is a website where people post comments about suspicious activity, but what exactly is the threat?  I'm not going to call her back but I would like to know more...thank you!

Terry These people seriously need to stop harassing businesses for collecting money. I do not have time to answer harassing calls - we have a business to run. STOP LENDING MONEY and then you won't have this issue.

The Raven The Caller's name is Gina Gable, "Senior Rep" for Primerica.This caller scans resumes on Monster and contacts people who have recently posted them.I Googled Primerica and found out some interesting things.If you're called by this person, you should be careful...

They claim to be in Maryland now under the name Litigation Consulting Services

They left me alone; after I paid them $4000 dollars for a repo that I defaulted on over ten years ago.  Now I can't get a receipt to prove that I gave them anything.  I am not happy.  I guess I'll see a lawyer tomorrow.

Just angry! "Investigator Hillary Bower" was how she introduced herself to my voicemail.  She was really very rude.  I can't wait to get ahold of her ear on the phone!   In her message, she was talking about affidavits, criminal charges, etc.  The last words of her message were "Good Luck", in a very smart-a** tone of voice.  She threatened.   She went on and on about me getting picked up on warrant(s).  F***ing nuts!

Mom Nicole Morgan said that there was a civil complaint against ____ (my son's name). A class three felony.  She said that it was an action in _____ (the city where he lived.)  She gave a case number and said that Robert Goldstein was the lawyer handling the case.  I said that I thought she had the wrong person. I wanted more information.  She said she would give it to me but I had to give the last four digits of his SS# before she would.  I gave her four random digits.  She said that it wasn't him and would not call again.  About eight years ago, he had a dispute with his telephone company that showed up on his credit report.   I assume that they got his name connected to that.  When I called my son, he quickly found this site.

Ghee$ Received a call from the above number basically stating:  This is a call in reference of (my ex-wife) indicating there is a civil complaint against me and I needed to either call them back myself or have my lawyer to call -- I called the number only to get a voice message that they've stepped out of the office -- I may have called past a "normal operating time" considering that I am on the WEST COAST and the number seems to be registered in OHIO -- I will return with a positive result later -- thanks

MADMADMAD I was notified that I had criminal charges that were being filed against me (class E felony for defrauding a credit card compeny) and that I was being sued in civil court.  When I notified them that the credit card company in question was discharged 2 years ago in a chapter 7 case they then told me that I would still be summoned & would have to appear in court.  SHADEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I told them that this account was included in the bankruptcy & they said that the client did know, and then the 2nd person that I spoke to there said that the client had not accepted the chp. 13 bank.  WELL THEY DID NOT FILE A MOTION IN MY BANKRUPTCY HEARING!!!!!  They didn't do it during the chapter 13 nor when it was converted to a chapter 7.  This is VERY fishy that I had to fight a collection agency with Providian once before this (Unifund) about not owing as well.  MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR BANKRUPTCY LAWYER IF YOU HEAR FROM THESE OBVIOUSLY CLUELESS "INVESTIGATORS".  They said that they had tried to call me multiple times & had left a voicemail - guess what I DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWERING MACHINE!!!!  SO am NOT sure who they called!!!!

ayawna I just got off the phone with them and they had some of the correct information.  They called looking for my husband that has a very popular name.  Some of his information she had was right  but when I asked her his social she did not have that right.  The town she was saying this charge was from we have not lived there in over 10 years and the company she is claiming she is calling on behalf of we claimed them in a bankruptcy.  Also it never showed on our credit report.  We just bought a house a year ago...so where was this.  Think I am going to contact my local police and do a reverse phone number check.  All beware!!!  Do not give them any information!!!  Fish for what they have!!!

Supedve Hey these guys are busy now. I just got a call re: a civil case vs. me (I told them I was someone else, expecting it to be a scam). The person who called me "Jason McKay", says he's an Investigator with International Asset locators (i.e. Collection Company). I brushed him off and will await a future contact again. I have a very common name and wonder if that is part of the scam to, to get you to open the file and then you are hooked.

mad called by 216-373-1461 lead investigator and told to call 216-393-0456.  Nicol Morgan said I was being charged with a class E felony for failure to pay a c.c. I never owned.  I contacted the c.c. company and there is no record of me or of litigation with Robert Goldstein.  Robert Goldstein is too new with the Ohio BBB to have complaints on file, but the company NAAIB with the same address and phone number has numerous complaints that they have not responded to.

Another info I should also let you know another thing the officer told me.  He told me that the collection agency can't just go off and get a criminal arrest warrant.  They need to first establish the case in a civil court.  A judge will not sign an arrest warrant that easily.I am going to contact the Ohio Bar as well as the State's attorney general's office to monitor closely those idiots' business practice.

216-393-0456 I had a terrible day today due to the call from 216-393-0456 saying something about getting a criminal warrant for arrest.  Like so many posts here, they have the WRONG PERSON!!!  I called my local police department and an officer came to my home to listen to the message.  He said the message did not violate any crminal laws but he recommened that I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  I encourage all of you to do the same.  So far I am the first person who has ever complained about the company at BBB.  You can logon to www.bbb.org and search for the Firm "Robert Goldstein & Associates".  They are based in 6100 Oaktree Blvd., Independence, OH 44131.  The officer also mentioned that I may want to call back and tell them that they have the wrong person.  I called and tried to explained that I am not the person they are looking for.  The conversation became heated and a string of profanities came from the "receptionist".  I tried calling back and asked to leave a voice mail for Robert Goldstein, but the receptionist blurted another string of profanities before hanging up on me and threatened legal action if I ever called back.  Funny isn't it.  At least I gave them a dose of their own medicine; repeated unwanted phone calls.If you are frustrated like me.  Contact BBB and complaint.  Those folks need to learn to do their homework before randomly fishing for names.

SOMEONE I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS # STATING THAT THERE WAS A CIVIL COMPLAINT FILED.  THE WOMAN OFFICER BUCANNON (SP) STATED THAT WE HAD A DEBT FROM OVER 10 YEARS AGO GOING TO COURT.  THEY DID HAVE PERSONAL INFO.  WRONG ADDRESS THOUGH. SHE COULDN'T EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THIS WASN'T SHOWING ON ANY OF OUR CREDIT REPORTS IF IT'S A COLLECTION. SHE GAVE ME THE TOTAL WE OWED WHICH WAS OVER $3000 BUT THERE'S AN ATEMPT TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1000.  WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THE CHANCE AND GO TO COURT IF WE HAVE TO BECAUSE WE KNOW THIS ISN'T OUR DEBT, LET THEM WASTE THEIR MONEY :-).    I HAVE ALSO NOTIFIED A FAMILY MEMBER WHO IS A LOCAL DETECTIVE AND WILL LOOK FURTHER INTO THIS CALL. I FEEL WE ARE A VICTIM OF FRAUD, THE CHARGE THAT THE SO CALLED ATTORNEY "ROBERT GOLDSTEIN" (WOMAN WOULDN'T GIVE ME HIS #)IS CLAIMING ISN'T OURS.  AS TO THE PREVIOUS STATEMENTS ABOVE MINE...THE WOMAN REALLY DIDN'T HAVE TOO MUCH INFO ABOUT THE COMPLAINT AND WHAT EXACTLY I WAS GETTING SUED FOR..  SHE WAS "FISHING". SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE IS HIRED BY THE ATTORNEY TO FIND OUT INFO.  IT'S KIND OF FUNNY HOW ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS ARE FROM THE PAST COUPLE DAYS.  MAYBE THIS IS A NEW TYPE OF SCAM GOING AROUND.  TRYING TO THREATEN PEOPLE WITH COURT IN THE HOPES THAT THEY WILL SETTLE.  I'M GOING TO CONTACT THE LOCAL NEWS STATIONS AND THEY CAN START THEIR OWN "INVESTIGATION" INTO THESE PEOPLE. IF THIS IS A SCAM THEY MESSED WITH THE WRONG LAW ENFORCEMENT FAMILY.

VA Linda I received a call from this agency and was threatened.  Guess what?  They had the wrong person!  They were "fishing" and became combative when I demanded to know who they were.  I was cussed at and called names by one of the males working for them.

nancy p i was contacted by an investigator regarding a civil complaint regarding a loan that i had taken out, i was offered an opportunity to resolve this matter be for it went to court.  i told them that they could do what they wanted to do because i was not paying this matter because it was on behalf of my ex husband, within 48hr i had a sheriff at my door serving me with a summons  for court and i am due to go to court 8/16/07, when i called back to try to resolve matter they could no longer speak with me.  i don't know what i am going to do now because i do not have any money to retain myself an attorney.

THE PRINCIPLE BALANCE WAS ONLY 5674.33. I WISH I WOULD'VE SETTLED THIS WHEN I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY

B called and left a message at a relatives home mentioning a subpoena as me as the repondent about a case in a county I have not lived in in 9 years. Listed a case number that does not appear on the County website.
