Leave a CommentCalled a few times in the past couple of days; they have not left a message on voicemail. I looked a few things up on the internet out of curiosity, and this seems to be a number used to solicit donations for the Illinois Special Olympics. Putting "ilso" in google returns one of their websites (soill.org) as topmatch - not listed in the google results at all, but also registered to them (and hosting a mirror of the site), is ilso.org.It's a Lake Forest number, but I don't see it on their site, so it's likely a contracted call center for fundraising purposes.I just wish they wouldn't call me at 8:30 at night.
THEY HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMESBECAUSE I DIDN'T LIKE THEIR AT***UDEI SAID NO BUT THEY KEEP CALLING
These f***s keep calling me every couple of days, they say nothing, leave no message and when I call back the message is unintelligible
Came up as ILSO on Caller ID. I didn't answer and no message was left.
I got these calls several times, too. I asked who was calling and she identified herself as Vicky (sp?) Parrish (sp?) or Parish (sp?) with the Illinois Special Olympics. ISO is located in the 1600 block of Honore in Chicago, IL. No text came up on Caller I.D. or the number. Had to get it from Star 69. The caller could also be programming the Caller I.D. read out to read what they want.
Have received one call a night for the past 4 days. Let it go to voice mail, left no message
I've been called by this number FOUR TIMES since Monday (Today is Tuesday!), and have answered never (due to meetings, etc). Each time, however, they end up in Voice Mail, but leave no number. But the message does pick up background noises, everything from tele-marketing center sounds to those of a family talking. Hard to make it out. Thanks to this site, I'm not planning to answer (SOIL has gotten contributions from me in the past, but not with this kind of "help!").
Claim to be the Special Olympics of Illinois (SOIL). "Surprised" to learn they have been reported to this site.
Call came in 7/18/2007 at 6:23 PM CDT.I let it roll over to voice mail.
Took call; no iden***y offered. Apparently looking for commercial operations only (vs residential). Don't bother calling back with a *67 prefix (to hide your CallerID); you'll be routed to a very long "BS" message. A direct call to the number (w/o *67) will get you nothing more than a loud tone!
"(224) 212-9607 is a land line based in Lake Forest, ILThe registered service provider is Ameritech Illinois**.Detailed listing information is not available."
Call came in, and no one spoke when I answered, although you could hear background noise (like a telemarketing center). I can find no information on this, excepting it is a land-based line in Lake Forest, IL.
