Seem to be using some form of s****ing as well - the Caller ID gives a different name each time.

Caller just called my house and then ***g up after about 20 seconds of listening to me.

Sept 1, 2010, 11:24 a.m.: Expecting a call - phone rang - picked up handset and said "hello ...*****o?*****o?". No response! I ***g up. Tried to call back both local and long-distance varieties of number. Got (same) recorded message to both attempts: "Sorry. The number cannot be completed as dialled. Please check the number and try a***n".Not even a telemarketer? Just a nuisance or "scam" call.

Does anybody else getting calls from this number?

I missed the call and no message left...though I was in front of the phone when they called, must have been 1/100th of a ring. Only had the number for a few hours and I'm already getting spam calls...lame.

Just got a ****up call from this number also. Is this some wacko?

I answered the call no one said any thing so I called it back it said out of service telus

looked up the is number and postal code is V8X 1J5 just off of Quadra in Victoria BCif that helps anyone track the punks down since I too got called

Got a phone call from this number. No message left.

I am a Rogers wireless customer. When I call the national do-not call registry I am told that the number I am calling from is 250-727-8800 but, since that is not my number and one cannot register any number except the one from which one is calling, I cannot put my number on the do-not-call list. I have encouraged everyone I know who are also Rogers customers to do the same and they get the same results. It seems that, as Rogers customers, we are not extended the same rights as those enjoyed by all Ca***ian citizens. I have tried to discuss this with a Rogers representative but have been told that they cannot provide me with any information on any numbers other than my own and that I must be making a mistake when calling the do-not-call line. I think the mistake I made was becomming a Rogers customer.

As a customer of Rogers wireless I cannot register on the national do-not-call list because one can only register the number from which they call and the number reconized when I (and all other Rogers customers) call is 2507278800, which is not my number. Because I am a Rogers customer, I do not enjoy all of the rights extended to all Ca***ians.

They called me over and over and I never answer numbers I dont know. When i finally answered they said "sorry wrong number" and ***g up.

Called into my workplace and left a message with a lot of foul language. Tried calling back to see if I could help him with so****ing but it must be blocked and just routed to an automated menu to talk to Telus.

caller was using foul language and making threats to my life. please look into this, otherwise i will file a police complaint a***nst Telus phone company, as my life is at risk.
