This is one of the many Capitol One phone numbers.  They call on average once every 45 minutes every day from 8:05 am to 8:50 pm.  They are so persistent that if you block a number they just use another number to call from or they c****e their caller ID.  Some come through as Capitol One, while some come through as restricted.  So far in December they used 11 different numbers.  Now in 5 days of January they have added 5 more numbers. And now they use SIGNET BANK-VA (800)955-6600.  When you call back it's Capitol One.  I'm looking into a harassment solution now.

ohh god i really dont like these collectors.  even after you workout a payment with them they still keep calling i dont know what to do and they even have the nerve to scream back after you tell them to stop the harrassing calls.  they can not harrass you

Hey, this may be hard for you to understand but sometimes people do get a new (old) number that some else has had & you kind hearted never take the number off the list because you train that people lie about the number being c****ed. You will learn that with a class action lawsuit that not ever one lies.  Yes sometime people fall behind in the bills and they will work out with there bill collectors but it helps if the person on the other understands you. Sorry a person should not have to learn a new language just to take care of billing issues in their home country.

Shows up as Unknown Name on CID! They call more than 5 times a day! I don't have no service with these people and I want them to quit calling! I don't want telemarketers calling!

IT IS CAPITAL ONE ,THEY HAVE ALOT OF # THE LAST HAD NO NAME SOME HAVE 0 AMD NO #,WELL I FILED AND SENT A LETTER AND THEY ARE STILL CALLING ME SINCE MAY 27TH,IF THEY DON'T STOP THAT IS HARSMENT,IAM A SENIOR OVER 70,IF THEY DON'T STOP THEY ARE BREAKING THE FCC RULES. Get google voice, and mark them as a spammer. Then when they call, they will get a message, "this number is no longer in use, or has been disconnected." This stops their automated system.

Calls about every hour, nothing is said over the line then goes dead.

I just got this mobile number 2 hours ago and this number called my phone.  They did not leave a message so I am not sure who they are calling for.

No doubt Capitol One, already called me 6x in an hour and 1/2!!!! They (Capitol One) has more numbers than the White House. I was layed off in August, tried to keep up with the bills but could not when unemplyment ran out. They are the most harrassing company. Can't wait til I do pay them off and cancel all my cards with them.

Just received a call from this number.....Capital One. I have one request, could they please hire someone that speaks at least a little English. The person couldn't understand what I was saying so he ***g up on me. I think it is the same guy that works for Dell tech support. Sounded just like him.   :>)

just c****ed my cell phone # and I keep getting calls from this #. have not picked up.

This is Capital One's automated system Linda. She calls me every 2 hours from this # along with a 714-369-1909, 866-632-6475, and 310-208-4217. yes I know I am late on a payment and have explained that to them but i still get 10 calls a day every 2 hours. Does this fall under harassment?

They recently have abandoned their calling practices and I only get the automated service. It only states, "Hi this is Linda, I'm calling about some important opportunity for you..etc. etc." I get this maybe once or twice a day, I'd rather it than a real person.

I've recently gotten a few calls from them. The first time it left a message and the voice was a female speaking spanish. Second time, i answered to the same female voice speaking spanish. Then an automated voice came over and said "this call may be monitored for quality****urance." Weird, because i don't have any debt.

Received two calls within 5 minutes.  No voice message was left.

I got a call from this person today and yes****ay. They left a message stating, from what I recall, "Hi, this is Linda from Capital One, we're calling you about an opportunity please call me back at 1-800-955-6600"I know I'm current behind on payments due to being unemployed and have already explained to them I can't pay until I find work, so I don't answer nor do I call back

Got a call from 260-423-4603.  Am fairly certain it's Capitol One Bank.  Just sent them a letter through my attorney not to contact me by phone.Also got a call from Bank of America.  I figure they got their Bail Out money and misspent it.  They can use it to pay off what they claim I owe them.  Since Banks lend money, not credit, I'm still waiting for the money and I'll use it to pay off the credit.

cant understand them, they call all hours of the day and night. even when you send them a letter and state fair debt collection practies and not to call they just call from another number.

Relentless...Capitol One calls my phone day and night from about 12+ different numbers. i don't answer it because i can't understand the person that i speak to with a very heavy accent definitely from another country calliing. capitol one outsourses all these collection calls and you can't get anywhere with these people.  i'm just trying to make my monthly payments and ignoring these fools

They call and call.  Never leave a message.  I believe it is Capital One.

Received 2 calls from this number and they never left a Voice mail. I suspect that it's Capital One.

This number is from Capital One as well as 8003556600. They will call you 6-8 times per day and will never leave a message.  I believe it's automated direct ring, meaning that they program their system to continue you call your phone until they get a response no matter what time of day or night. I have gotten calls from this number as late as 1020p at night.
