they call all the time. supposedly directv. i called directv and they said it wasn't their #.

DirecTV soliciting free month of premium channels (FOX Soccer Channel in my instance).

Message left from this number, "Hello,*****o" then ***g up. With so many obvious indicators of****ential illegal activity, what is taking so long to shut it down?

I got a call from this number, who ***g up when I answered.  I called the number back, and the line kept ringing with no answer.  I'm blocking this number.

I received a call today 12-16-2009 from this number 1-269-768-2316. The voice mail stated that they where from Directv So, I called Directv and the agent for Directv stated that the number 1-269-768-2316 is a company that sell promotional packages for Directv. Also the agent for Diretv said that if you do not want to receive calls from the third party company they (Directv) will take you off the call list.

They have been calling be 2-3 times a day for weeks now. I generally to not answer out of area calls during the day so they have been going mostly to voice mail where they never leave a message. I did pick up tonight however and the line went dead without anyone saying anything. Left Direct TV and email with old number. Swit****g to new phone number anyway to stop all the other scam calls coming in and because AT&T is discontinuing VoIP service if you do not buy their internet which is not even available here. They had the only phone service I have found so far with a white list too. :-|

got a call from this number and when I picked it up it played the "intel inside" jingle from the commercial and then some stoney fool said "uh*****o?"  I ***g up.

Called back, voicemail said it's the "DirectTV response line" and invited me to leave my name and number and I would receive a call back. My account is up to date so I suspect this is a sales line more than a collection line.

I just got a call from this number.  They said that because I was such a wonderful DirecTV customer, they wanted to offer me MLB Extra Innings at a discounted price.  However, midway through the conversation the price c****ed so I told them no thank you.  Afterward, I called DirecTV directly and talked to a customer service rep who stated that these people are calling around phishing for information.  He also stated that this issue has been reported and that DirecTV is currently trying to shut these people down. So, if you get a phone call from these people, tell them you are not interested and then make a complaint directly to DirecTV.

Called my cell while I was at work, I sent it to voicemail. They did not leave a message and when I called back they either ***g up on me or the line was busy. My DirecTV account is up to date. If this is a collect agency for DirecTV.....I have been wanting to try cable for a couple yearts now!

First time call tonite. Answered, said*****o with no response. Attempts to call the number only gets a busy signal.

I've had 2 calls, both on Mondays, a week apart.  No messages, but they're calling my cell while I'm at work.  Annoying pretty well sums it up!

This number called my business cell phone and no one was there when i answered. Wen you call it back it picks up and immediately ****s up If it is a collection agency as previous posts are saying everytime they call they are violating the law by calling to a place of business

Call and no one on the other end.  No ID.

Keeps calling me and states to call the number back.  Caller ID states Direct TV and when I return the call a cheap answer ma****e message picks up saying that all operators are busy.  I called Direct TV specifically and they stated that it is a collection agency from them, but have no answers as why they are calling me since my account is up to date.
