Man said he was from the Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Department and needed to verify my iden***y before discussing the matter about which he was calling. When I said “what’s up, what’s going on? I’m in a hurry” caller ***g up the phone. I called the number back and it went to a voicemail claiming to be an officer from a different Sheriff’s department.

This person is impersonating a celebrity on WhatsApp. And requesting that I open a bank account so they can put money into it. They wouldnt call me or meet me about any business venture. The person they are impersonating is a distant family member of mine. And they don't know their mother's name. Idiot.

This number was used by a very clever scammer! He tried to tell me I won a Pell Funding GRANT. I think he must have hacked my friends Facebook account because I got a message from her first saying that she just won the grant and all I had to do was text this number and apply!
