Fightback Jack THE BAD NEWS: Card Services calls aren't going to stop anytime soon. THE GOOD NEWS: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun. RETALIATE: Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a modified ZIP Code. Important: provide a credit card company's real 800 number. After they call the credit card company, you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bull****." Now they're the **** of your joke. REDUCE THE MISERY: Landlines. Enroll for the free service at nomorobo.com. Simultaneous ringing, a free feature many providers offer, enables nomorobo to receive, answer and, after one ring, automatically **** up on nuisance telephone numbers. Cell phones. Block the number, an option that becomes available on the iPhone if you click on the "i" on the right in the list of recent calls and scroll to the bottom. Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new s****ed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate. HAVE FUN: Turning the tables on the perpetrators with mischievous deception and the news they've been duped provides instantaneous vigilante satisfaction. Plus you serve your fellow call recipients by slowing down this evil operation's efforts to defraud them.
Steven S Spammer for "your credit card account interest rate reduction"
called repeatedly over several days. ***g up without leaving a message
Bobby05 To fight these s*** you have to take action yourself.....the do not call list is a joke (the FCC and congress have proven to be lapdogs for big business telemarketers and is now moving to give them and big media priority fast lane access to the internet.....the FCC chairman is (surprise) a former telecom lobbyist. If you do not have a call blocking feature (or run out of ****e), do yourself a favor and get a call blocker, and just plug it in to your phone line.....it will be the best money you ever spent.....lots of them out there, check Amazon,Google and Fleabay. I got a device called Pro Call Blocker last year and it only costs around $50. It stores up to 1500 or so numbers and uses caller ID. When a spam call comes in, all you have to do i***** the blacklist ****on and presto, no more calls from this number (you can also manually enter numbers to block, entire area codes or all out of area numbers). It logs all calls in or out. If you get this one, be sure to get the latest version (last I looked it was 2.2). There is also another similar device called T-lock blocker which looks similar and came out late last year. Phone line is pretty quiet now as there are no repeat calls (although a lot of these spammers have multiple numbers so you have to block each one as they come in). Lots and lots of others out there that may work better or are cheaper, so get yourself a device and post back a review of its effectiveness to help the rest of the anti-spam community here and other sites.
eileen yes - phone call - do not answer
Credit card scammers.Dont answer them or you'll be wiped out on your credit cards
Probably a new spamster number from Florida, 1st call, expect more!

The same credit card refinance scam, this time with Lisa, that's been robo-calliing for years. They try to imply there may be a problem.
Henry It turns out they are a debt collector company located in Miami, FL. They seem to search the phone numbers registered at the previous addresses of the people they are chasing. The called the numbers****ociated with the addresses regardless of who lives there now. If one of the previous owners of a house you live in has had a debt problem you will get phone calls from them. Not certain if this is legal. But, that is their practice.
Let my answering ma****e pick up on it... ***g up no message
Caller did not leave message.
RayRay Telemarketer keeps calling me on my home line and when I ask them to have my number removed. He responds with a big and loud NOOO WAY and then ****s up. Seems like the call is from India from his accent. I am getting sick and tired with these types of calls. I will search online and find out what company this is and then I will call and harass them with my phone calls.
Glad you are onto these untraceable numbers. Thanks

Forgive the language but when I asked the gentleman to place my number on the "Do Not Call" list, he said, "Shut the ***k up, you *****."
marianne Caller i.d. posted the number as 305-368-8711 , Florida. Before I could answer the phone the caller disconnected and did not attempt to leave a message. Several follow-up calls from me yielded only a busy signal. Obviously a call center. Very annoying and inconvenient.

Robin 2013-03-26: "important message about your credit card" credit transfer advertising junk
anne I get calls at least weekly via various numbers from these spams, though I'm on do-not-call registry. Recorded msg says it's "about your credit card", then connects to live person who asks if you want lower interest rate. Maybe telemarketing for new credit card, or more likely phishing scam for your current card info. When I said I was on do-not-call list, and that I know you probably need a job but your employer is violating laws, she s****ed cursing at me with "f*** you" and "c**t" vocabulary, and sounded like she was relishing the verbal sparring that ensued. This number comes up as a cell phone, but I could hear all the other callers in the background, so it could be a "s****ed" phone number (the click and delay is it being transferred to the call center)
axra rang 3 times and ***g up, no message, a telemarketer or scammer.
