I am supposed to call this number to get my celebrity fan card it sounds a little fishy to me and I'm hesitant to do that wanted to know if anybody thought it was a scam number

5-22-19 at 11:33 am received “threatening” unsolicited robocall from Compton, CA which advertised the following: “If are unaware of the plans for the Federal claims court house for you to get arrested kindly press one. I repeat press one to know about your legal case this call is from the legal department of social security administration your Social Security number has been suspended and we have filed a case under your name so before this matter goes to Federal claims court house for you to get arrested kindly press one I repeat press one.” DEFINITE SCAM!

Lisa I just got a call from this number. I don't usually answer unknown numbers, but I did this time. Caller was looking or someone I don't know. When I told her she had the wrong number, she said "sorry" and ***g up.

Grupo Pesado Spammer selling VOIP phone service

Caller is a scam. Calls and identifies himself with a VERY anglo sounding name, like Doug Smith, or Martin McCord or so****ing, but has a very heavy foreign (Middle Eastern or East Indian type) accent. Caller tells you that they are an officer with the collection bureau. Sometimes they use so****ing that sounds even more official like "Bureau of Investigation". They will tell you that you overdrafted a payment to so****ing... it is never fully detailed out and that either you must pay an amount immediately, (usually in the $900-$1000) range, have your attorney "of record" call them to set up legal proceedings, or face immediate arrest. THIS IS A SCAM. If you receive this call, from this or any number, log it here. DO NOT PAY. It is ILLEGAL for any debt collector to threaten incarceration for failure to pay anything at all!!! I personally have no debt, and do not have a bounced debit to my account for the past 10 years. I called them back after listening to their ****** message and told them to go fly a kite, basically.

Dave I received a call from this number.  The person identified themself as a floor manager at Guideposts magazine.  He offered to renew our subscription for a special offer for 5 years at a cost of 22.00 per year.  I declined the offer. 2 weeks later someone named Mark called back and repeated the offer.When I told him we were not interested, he called me a ------ ****er. I called Guideposts magazine and they informed me that this was not a call from their office.  This is very likely a scam.

Dont bother with these calls, they are scammers.  Claiming you won a $250 shopping spree and they need you to pay a 3.99 processing fee.  Its bull.  I never signed up for anything and they called my phone asking for me... and the phone is not even in my name. they picked it up off a list somewhere. Turn them in.
