calls and lets the phone ring twice and ****s up. no message.

late nite calls from 313-203-8198, ****up, can hear people in back ground. The phone company that is supplying dial tone for these guys is CMC, please contact them to let them know of this activity  from their customer. I just reported the number to the do not call list and informed the American Cancer Society of this practice and gave them the number to follow up.

the first phone call i got from this number was of a lady that laughed loudly and then ***g up. I called the number back, and it converted over to a 405 area code number. This is from an individual that is trying to get donation for cancer. . It is not related to any non profit organization for cancer research.

just put a whistle near the phone and when she calls a***n pick up and **** **** **** **** then **** up maybe an earache will help her understand you

for calls like this an ex0telemarketer said to tell them to "put you on their do not call list"some call lists are done automatically and are lengthy so they dont have time to take you off a long list even if it exists..other lists are just done manually one phone number after another. 1 2 3 4 5 etc.

I am on the Do Not Call list too, but they call sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. We just let it ring and don't answer it anymore. It's just harassment from a tele-marketer, wish I knew how to stop it.

same thing with me.  constantly calling to solicit money for charity donations.

This is a de****able outfit. A lady calling from this number first rang my house earlier this week. She said she was calling for "The Cancer Fund of America" which supposedly does "ho****e care." She sounded legit but I have to believe this outfit is a ****** one. Here's why...I explained to her that my wife has cancer and financially and that we weren't in any a position to give right now. She then ***g up. Then today, the phone woke my wife (who's exhausted and in pain from her meds) a 7:52 a.m. with another call. I was half asleep, too, but I recognized the number on our bedside phone and we let it ring. The hope was we could both try to grab a few more winks before our three young children woke us. An hour later they rang a***n. We didn’t answer. And then they rang a***n 30 minutes later. (Even though we’re on the "do not call" list.) When I finally picked up. A woman who sounded exactly like the one I spoke to a few days ago then went through the same script. I explained a***n (this time in more detail) that my wife had Stage IV Cancer, that our medical bills were astronomical, and that we weren't in a position to give. Just in case she wasn't the same person, I stressed, "Look, you people called me earlier in the week, I explained all this then, please take us off your call list."Rather than grasp that Stage IV Cancer is the "incurable kind" where you eventually need ho****e care, she went right back at me saying, "If you can donate $25, I can take you off the call list." Essentially, the telemarketer was trying to extort a donation in exc****e for not harassing anymore. Incredible.My wife and I have given generously to American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen. We give to legitimate charities as much as we are legitimately able to give (i.e., we don't donate money when we have thousands of dollars more in bills than insurance will cover). Either this charity is a monumental mound of B.S. (that’s my bet) or they are clueless to the fact that there callers are harassing the very people they came to be calling to help out. If they ever call you a***n, feel free to share my story. I told them to take me off the list, but I’m sure they will call a***n. And I’m even more sure they would have kept calling even (especially) if I’d given in to the extortion.

A female called asked if it was my residence then ***g up on me, I called the number back on caller ID and it said it was not****igned.  Way too strange I think, have visited other websites and some have talked with her and she wants money for cancer.

Tried to pressure me to give anything - $10 - $15... I tried to keep it nice - but she kept trying the pressuretactic... Which is not a good idea - Talked me outof donating one red cent... I don't make telephonedonations anyway... Pity these people can't be stopped.Not sure they are even legit..
