I am not the DO NOT CALL list - yet they call & leave no message

I called the number and received an automated message that stated that this number was unassigned.  The message was both in English and in French, so the calling number is probably a French Ca***ian call center.

I played them some Paul McCartney when they called. They ***g up on McCartney! Can you believe that??

Called last two days no messages left.

These people call repeatedly every day.  I do not answer my phone unless I know the caller, but they are very persistent, and keep right on calling!  I am on the Do Not Call Registry, but that does not seem to help.

Got a call from this number but no message was left...

1-313-203-8197, Michigan Number.Called but when I picked up the phone no one was there.  We are on the "do not call list".  Who the heck do these people think they are.Someone needs to find out who they are and fine there sorry ****s for calling numbers that are on the do not call list.

NEVER DONATE TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE!  EVER!!!  always ask who its for, and if you wish to donate, than FIND the actual REAL address for donations yourself.  Even the real companies working for the NON PROFITS are supposed to tell you that you MAY send in your donation via mail, but they will not, because they will not get paid for it.  They keep the bulk of the donation, so on a $25 donation, the charity might receive $3.  Bogus Fund-Raising Operations: 800Notes.com users report getting calls from scam artists posing as a charity and asking for donations. Call a***n and a***n, ID says "Michigan".  number not known to me.  No known reason for this call.

These people called about 30 minutes ago addressing me by my first name, as if they know me.  Immediately, red flags went up. They are soliciting donations for cancer patients, if you can believe that! It's really sad the number of people who are willing to cheat, lie and steal money from people. I attempted to be civil when I declined to make a donation and finally ***g up when this guy would not give up. Had the audacity to ask if I could afford a small donation of $25!I had this sort of problem with my cell phone and house phone before. I'm supposed to be on the "Do Not Call Registry".  The "Do Not Call Registry" is a waste of time because they cannot help and the FCC is a joke.  Believe me, I filed complaints regarding "Robo" calls from companies identified by other consumer complaints. I had to c****e my numbers a***nst my will. It's a shame that you cannot live in the comfort and peace of your own home. Everyone's personal information is at risk because anyone can either buy it from someone you do business with.

Have received daily calls from this number s****ing on 6/15/09/. Today, 6/19, I have been called 3 times. Each time the call listens for a few seconds and ****s up.

When I got home from work, saw the number on my caller ID. Did not leave a message.  I am sick and tired of these calls.  Why aren't these telephone numbers being blocked?
