I got a call from Jacob Martin today Dec 3, 2010.   Said I must call back right away and good luck to me if I don't.  He said it was in reference to a legal matter.

Eddie Jones just called my house and left a message with a different phone # to call back 315-519-2921 or me and Everyone at my work is going to be taken away in handcuffs tomorrow morning.  I'm printing all your posts out and taking them down to the police station this afternoon.

Similar story... Eddie Jones is a busy man, I guess. First he says, "2nd warning call" and then the same issue... says to have my "attorney of record" contact him at this number... I have had these calls before. They do stop after awhile; they seem to go in spurts. Last time I told them I sent all their info to the FBI and local state Attorney's office and it seemed to stop for awhile, but here we go a***n.  It is totally a scam and the only reason they are still doing it is because they scare people into paying their fees. Don't listen to them... if there was a legit complaint from ANY person/company you have financial obligations to they would send you letters in writing or certified mail. They would never call; and any type of bill collector that is threatening and uses scare tactics is a***nst the law... so don't be fooled by these idiots.

I got a phone call at work from a VERY angry middle eastern man claiming his name is Eddie Jones.  First he said he was suing me for $5,000. I told him I had not idea what he was talking about and asked him to fax me over some do***entation.  He refused so got his phone # and the name of his company (Cash Partners of America) then I ***g up.  He called back and asked to talk to the owner of my company. I said no and a***n asked him to reference a claim # & send over some do***entation.  He continued to call back a dozen times in a  30 min period.  I did my best to keep my cool and just giggles NO everytime he asked to talk to my boss.  This just got him angrier.  So I looked up the company name he gave me and it does not exsist. Then I googled the phone # and found all your responses.  I will now be calling the police and letting them deal with Habib aka Eddie Jones.  PLEASE BE CAREFULY OF SCAMBAGGS LIKE THIS

Just received another call this am from the 3192949472 from Steven Anthony, an angry sounding Middle eastern Indian accented man.  I have been receiving these calls every few months since Aug 2009.  They come from California, NY, etc.  I cannot believe that they cannot be traced and stopped.  It is harrassment and terrorism of sorts, and certainly it is a scam.  I to, had pay day loans in the past and so****ing must have been hacked.  I have no outstanding debts, and am on time with my financial obligations.  This however, is irritating and I know gets my B/P up every time they call.  If I could I would sue these people, however, they will not get a dime from me unless they can back up their claim with so****ing in writing from the company which they supposed represent, but don't give their names.

Said she was calling from LLC Law Office and I needed to send $500 to keep from going to jail the next day. I asked for information and she finally ***g up. I keep getting these calls, all from people that don't speak English very well.

Whatever you do don't send these idiots a dime this is a SCAM. Please report to BBB and your attorney general's office. This has been going on for years and they have to be stoped.

Everyone should get educated on the laws of debt. Once the statute of limitations has run out (I believe it is seven years) you do not have to pay UNLESS you make a payment on an old loan. Then it is active a***n.No-one can arrest you for debt, you can be taken to court but you would get it in writing first. No debt collection agency can garnish your wages or get you fired from your job.Don't even answer the phone for these guys.I encourage everyone to pay their debts but make sure everything is on the up and up and EVERYTHING is in writing.

I too have received this call from some angry Indian/****stani claiming so****ing bad will happen. Tells me that either myself or my attorney of record must call them back the second I get this message as it is time sensitive.  They have called twice now.  He says his name is Jacob Martin and has a very threatening tone.  I have not called them back and do not intend too if they are not willing to supply me with paper back up.  What else can I do???

I called them back to mess with them, and this guy kept talking about ***. They called back 12 times after that. I don't recommend returning the call, unless you are looking for a good time over the phone to India. Lesson learned. Either way, they are a scam. They are not****ociated with anyone, they just fraudulently obtained yours, or the previous number holder's information. I guess if anyone listened to the message, it would be pretty easy to realize they are nonsense. You can complain all day long to the FCC, or your phone company; but they will just obtain another U.S based call number. There is not a lot to do about overseas phone harassment.  Even if there were strict laws in place, I'm pretty sure it's not a priority for Interpol.

I received a similar phone call today from the number '0000' but they left a message asking me to retur the phone call to the 315 number. I also suspsect it's from an online payday loan I did almost 2 years ago, since doing that loan I get various calls of this nature.  This time the man wished me "good luck" three or four times towards the end of his message.  Total scam, do not send them money, in fact do not call them back or give them any of your time.  Nothing bad will happen to you if you don't call them, if you ignore them they will eventually go away.  Though they will try a few months down the road with a different phone number, so if you want the calls to go away completely, I seriously advice c****ing your number.

315-294-9472John Smith, Jacob Martin... different name everytime will call your references that you listed on loans and will threaten not only your jobs but theirs. I called and asked for this John Smith and the guy said it was his son... This is a fradualent company and I have call police and filed FTC a***nst them. Don't do payday loans or short time loans on the internet these guys are breaking into these accounts using your SS# but only the last 4 digits. They are bad news......... Don't give them money

I too have received this call from some angry Indian/****stani claiming so****ing bad will happen. When I return the call the number is no longer in service. This matter should be taken to the Dept Of Homeland Security as I consider this cyber terrorism.

I received the same call, when I told him that I would need so****ing in writing before I could give him any money he said he could not do that  Said they were going to arrest me and also stated that they contacted my employer and I was about to be terminated.  DON'T SEND THEM ANYTHING!!!!  In fact report them to your states Attorney General.  I have an address the guy gave me which I have checked and believe it to be fake.

I just received a call from this number and a women was telling me that this is very time sensitive situation and that I need to call them back or have my attorney call them asap. When the number came up on my phone it was all zero's. That just rose a red flag for me not to answer and just wait for a voice mail. How do stop these calls because it happens at least every other day? FRUSTRATING !!!!

I've had the same calls. I ctually spoke with someone and I'm sure they were very ****ed when they got of the phone with me. At one poin the person I spoke to, s****ed raising his voice at me. I kept my cool and spoke to him in the most anoyingly peppy voice I could. Like the first person said, DONT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. If its a legitimate claim, the company can contact you

Caller says this message was intended for me. Says I should call himback as soon as I receive his message."If not, it will be very bad". I suspect it is another scam from when I ******ly did a payday loan online. Every few months they call me from different numbers and say the same things.They are usually of Indian or Middle-eastern descent and have fake sounding English names. At the end of the call they say "Good Luck". Who says that when trying to collect a legitimate debt? I have recieved no do***entation of anything and have no outstanding loans. Please dont send these people any money and be careful!!
