Was claimed to be selected in the country to receive a grant of 9,000$ and gave three options on how to claim it, transfer it to your card, transfer it to your bank, or receive cash

Actually received a letter asking me to call, pretending to be Publisher's Clearing House, and that I had won some money. Called PCH to verify and it was not legit.

Person claimed to be Officer Robinson from the New York City Police Department and needed to talk to me about an urgent legal matter. 315 is not the area code for New York City. I reported to the consumer affairs division of the New York City PD.
