this is a call from a debt collector and no matter how many times I tell them to stop calling they keep calling! ugh!

anon called today, left no message.. seems weird that a collection agency wouldnt leave a message, unless they want to push the limit on what they can and cant say to collect the debt according to the FDCPA - an answering ma****e is their worst nightmare because its a recording that can be used if they do cross that line - but how are they going to get you to pay without threats of lawsuits and further legal action? interesting how that works huh..

Kreppel I was called at 8:40 am by a male recording with a slight British accent asking me to hold for some personal business information. I called the number back and was asked to press 1 for English and to hold a***n (same voice).Weird!

Jack I've received several calls this week from this number and answered the call today. I'm not the person and don't know the person he's looking for, but he wanted my name and I told him that's none of your business, I'm not the person you're looking for. I asked who he is, he said he was calling from J C Christianson... I said, a debt collector? And he said they do customer service, contract fulfillment and collections. I said, your collection clients always give valid numbers... right? I'm not the person you're looking for.

They have called several times on my new number. We just moved and got this number six weeks ago. The caller is just an automated recording listing so****ing like J.C. Christensen, that it's a debt collector, and to call a certain number. The number is said once, quickly, and I haven't yet been able to catch it. Here's my complaint: WE HAVE NO DEBT! We each have upper 700 to lower 800 credit scores. The only debt we have are our mortgages (on two houses, one of which is a rental). We are not behind on ANYTHING.
