Threatened to put a lien on my house and take my car, she was from Davis & ***ociates. All of this over a CC I have no idea of. Of course they offered to settle for much less. They are clever so BEWARE

Scammer called me saying I owed money on a credit card I've never had. She said she was with Davis and ***ociates the first time, then Davis L.S. the second time. She's been reported to the CFPB and FBI.

The female stated that there was a legal service trying to serve me a judgement.

She was saying I have a civil suit going on and it is in the mediation process. I can pay now to settle it. For Wachovia bank account in 2011-2013. Wells Fargo bought Wachovia Bank in 2008. I called Wells Fargo and they say I never had an account. She is convincing. She has emailed me ****o sign to sign and pay. I have not received any do***ents to prove anything.

Says they are trying to collect for US Bank on an old credit card balance. Haven't had anything to do with US Bank in over a decade and don't recall having a credit card with them, only a bank account.

Said I owed money on my daughyers car that was taken back by the bank. That was 20 years ago. They are tricky they said case# but there wasn't a case. Very official but scam.

He said I was being sued for a delinquent account that didn't exist.

Anonymous Says wanting payment for very OLD account

The voicemail and actual calls claimed to be about old debts waiting to be sent to court or wages will be garnished unless you pay the amount they claim you owe. The scary part is they have ssn, address, bank accounts.

This is a scammer. He threatened me at work. Said he was sending a server over that there was a judgement against me for 4000.00. Claimed to be collecting for Providian Bank. If I did not pay he gave me a court date and if I did not appear it would be default judgement and I would owe attorney fees and court costs on top. I had one hour to call some other associate and make settlement to stop it all. It is much longer then this. But give this guy nothing!
