Represent themselves as a law firm and threaten to serve "court summons at your job". I called the number back and it says "litigation department, leave your name and number after the beep, or call the county office directly". They use just enough "legal sounding" words to scare you. Most likely it's from a Payday loan or Medical bills.

anonymous 323 515 7074 craigslist SCAMMER . answered my ad & claimed to be deaf and could only text.. wanted me to accept a cashiers check. claimed it would clear in one day and then their mover would come pick the item up.

lee Received call from 323-515-3656 asking for Jill someone and asked if someone would here to accept legal papers. We know no one with the name Jill or the last name. To me the call sounded FAKE - I told them "how can you call like this - Jill died 3 days ago" they ***g up.

gin got a call 6 am twice but no answer. Did not phone back

rino I received a threatening call from this number.  He said his name was Tony jackson. They said I owed a company and needed to settle with them outside of court.  They asked me to fax them a letter stating I would settle....I refused them and told them I had spoken with the FBI and that I knew it was a scam.  When I asked for an address, they gave me the FBI address...SCAM
