Nicholas This number was given to me by a guy on tinder. Messages came in green (not iMessage) he said he was an iPhone user but it was a company phone and the company removed the iMessage feature. Now he has fallen off the face of the earth and this number appears to be a scam.

Amy I received six calls in three hours all from "VMS". I also received a call two days ago asking me to take a short survey regarding smoke detectors in my home. If these calls keep up I should be getting another one in about 10 minutes.

Elizabeth On Friday, my husband received a call from 352-352-0352  which was a survey about the smoke detectors in our house.  On Monday, we began receiving calls from this number every couple of hours.  The caller ID states "VMS."  Upon further research I learned that this was VMS Alarms (also known as Versatile Marketing Solutions) at 600 Jefferson Park Road in West Warwick, RI.  The owner is Jasjit "Jay" Gotra and the Customer Service Manager is Ralph Bruno.  Others on this site have complained about receiving calls from VMS following an initial "smoke detector survey," even though they are on the Do Not Call Registry.  Other phone numbers they have called us from include 401-305-6834, 401-305-6835, and 401-305-6951.Although they are registered with the BBB, they have received many complaints.  My general belief is that if you're doing business with integrity then you don't use these kinds of unsavory sales tactics.  I would urge you to avoid dealing with this company.

nanah Disturbing message from this number and they call and call and call. Can these people find so****ing else to do? A couple teengers with no parents around; it's about time they get in trouble with the law or so****ing!

PJN They claim to be responding to a phone survey and need more information. The person that they interview in the initial phone interview is 90 years old and can not hear a thing.The company behind this scam is VMS (w***ver they may be) but they promise a ***nd new ge oven for further information.

OSUFAN I got a call from this number saying I won a security system. But, they went on to explain that my mother had "given" it to me by passing it up herself.  They claimed to be Monotronics Home Security System by General Electric. They explained that they do their advertising by word of mouth instead of spending money on traditional ****ods.  When I asked them to mail me information they failed to think to ask for my address until after they attempted to end the call.  Then, they abruptly came back and asked for it stating that they already had my mother's address.  I didn't give my info but instead asked for their address or phone number so I could contact them.  They ended the call without giving their info.  I hear often that if a company is unwilling to mail information they probably are not legitimate.
