automated telemarketing scam to my cell phone? Seriously companies need to be put in check with a new law or so****ing. Privacy first, capitalism later.

Called saying that we spoke last week about refinancing credit card and that she could get me an interest rate of 1.5% on my credit cards. Then she s****ed to spout off a 1-800 # to call her back. I ***g up at this point knowing that I spoke with no one and working for a cell phone company knowing there's alot of scams out there.

Mortgage and debt consolidation company perhaps? I didn't listen to the entire message except to know that it sounded like they got a wrong number.

i have a AT&T prepaid phone, and i get a bunch of random calls kinda like this one.

Receive 3-4 calls a month from this #. Prerecorded message says: Hi, this is Rick Johnson, sorry it has taken so long for me to get back with you. I know we've discussed getting your credit card rate better......".  Then he said "Press 1 to speak to me now"               Of course, I don't know a Rick Johnson, he has not called me before & if you select 1, someone comes on the line who will **** up on you when you ask them to identify their company.

Received automated call - "Returning your call about your credit card debt" press 1 to speak to agent. Stacy answered and asked for my name... When I stated, "place me on your do not call list", she ***g up on me.

I have a verizon pre paid phone. Only 4 of my friends have my number. And they use verizon. I think they sell our phone numbers..... IM GOING WITH ATT NEXT TIME!!

I got a call from this number at 4:50 PM EST on June 8, 2010 on my office line.After answering, there was a brief pause, then a faint click, followed by a recording that was clearly meant to sound like a live person. A male voice s****ed off with, "Hey, guy, this is Rick. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. [Blah blah blah] credit card [blah blah blah]".Just to be sure I said, "This is a recording, isn't it?" Yep, "Rick" didn't skip a beat in his spiel.This is clearly unwanted phone SPAM.

I GET THIS CALL EVERY DAY AT 10:55AM AND I AM ON THE DNL I WILL FILE ANOTHER COMPLAINT UNTIL THEY DO SO****ING

I just got a call (I let it go to voice mail) from "Madison Smith" as well

This number left a message on my cell phone 6/2/10 @ 12:10pm  I did not answer or return the call ...  the caller said this is Madison Smith returning my call with final information on how to lower my interest rate to 1.5% since I was only paying the minimum payment on my credit card...  she said this was her final offer and I could call her back at 800-310-2148.   I have no balance on my CCs.

I just got the same call!!!  This dude says his name is "Rick Johnson" - talking about "I know we've discussed getting your credit card rate better......".  Then he said "Press 1 to speak to me now".  I didn't press 1, but that is the number that showed up (on my work phone).

I'd love to know how they got my cell number...phishing!

who are these people?calling our cell phone at night and morning and left a voice mail saying that they can lower our credit card payment.stop it already.
