They seem to be a telemarketer.  They left a message saying that if i wish to be deleted from future marketing calls to press 1.  I pressed 1 and got a robot saying thank you.  It is probably a scam to see if the number if active and by pressing 1 just told the freaks that I was a real person but we'll see.

Robo call on behalf of DebtWave Credit Counseling of Santa Ana and San Diego, CA, selling bogus debt settlement plans w/ high fees

THESE PEOPLE ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. THEY CALL ME ALL OF THE TIME. IT S****S OUT AS A RECORDING ASKING ME IF I WANT TO BE DEBT FREE. I HAVE TALKED TO LIVE OPERATORS ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS AND ASKED THEM TO TAKE MY PHONE NUMBER OFF OF THEIR CALLING LIST. SOME SAY THEY WILL, OTHERS ****  UP ON ME. HELP!

mortgage mod scam. wants to charge you from $2,500 to $5,000+ to have you get behind on your mortgage so they can *try* and get you a lower rate and payment. this is nothing but a scam to try and squeeze the last bits of cash out of people who are in a desperate situation. What s***. They're the kind that when youre down would kick you square in the groin just to steal your wallet while you were bent over holding the family jewels from the pain. Just say NO!! JHM

Received a call from this #.  ID showed Montana.  I know of ***ody in that state so did not answer.

This is a scam to try and steal you ID. This caller is a FRAUD and a SCAMMER. She will try and get your banking info by asking questions and trying to "help" you by pretending to 'assist' with debt reduction, tax debt reduction, mortgage mod, mortgage interest reduction etc. This caller is calling from a foreign country using an internet based phone service and faking their caller ID info to make it seem like they are in the USA when they are NOT! This scam will steal your money in a number of ways. you can get billed several ***dred dollars by saying "Yes" to a simple question they ask, then they will use that "Yes" as proof to your phone company that you authorized them to bill you by phone for some scam/fraudulen­t charge thay they drreamed up. Don't answer these calls!! This IS NOT a legitimate business. Thi­s IS a scam, fraud and a rip off!!
