This guy is running pretty true to form. He called my church this morning, said his name was Jerry Wolf and that he needed a little over $250 for bus tickets for his wife and child to get home from Altamonte Springs, FL to Derby, KS. He gave a fic***ious address, was not a water company customer in Derby, but otherwise his story was the same. He had his mother's ashes in an urn, his 95 Olds threw a rod and *****ed the block and was junk, and needed money wired to him thru Walmart within the next 3 hours to get home. After I found the previous reports I didn't even bother to call him back. The Derby police told me that he probably uses a disposable cell phone to make these calls and there was really no way to even get his phone shut off!
