Debt collectors "CW Account Service" has called many times leaving a message for someone that doesn't live here and I have no idea who they are. My message says you have reached ---and gives my name. IDIOTS!!!!What part on that do they not get that keep leaving messages?

I don't recall if she said her name or the company. She said she calling about an MRI bill from 4 years ago. I said I wasn't aware of owing for an MRI. My insurance records indicated that National Medical Imaging was paid in full for the negotiated rate. I asked if she could email or fax the details of the case. She took my fax number. Still nothing back. No bill or invoice ever sent to me over the past 4 years. Wondering if this is scam to see if they can scare people into paying old bills that were already paid by insurance.

Person calling VIOLATED FDCPA. Gave her name and a call back number, but refused to tell me what company. I told her to remove me from her list, she refused saying it is a business matter. When called back refused to ID company a***n. I issued a verbal cease and desist to the calls until she agrees to ID the company she's calling from. She did slip and tell me it was a medical thing for my wife and she cannot tell me the company, however, FDCPA states she must provide the info when asked.
