Got a call from this number about 3 PM today Jan 18. Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Thank heavens for Caller ID!

Got a call from this number on 1/12/11 at 4:53 PM EST. I didn't pick up in time but saw the number and called back - "Sorry, the number you have reached is not in service." Now, that's funny because you called from it and woke my housemate who naps to recover from his early morning shift. Take d**** Cheney's advice and go $@ yourself.

If it's Verizon, they have a number where you can call and block numbers, but you have to have a plan with the feature available.  I called the company that several people indicated called them, and they didn't make the calls (and I believe them), so this is probably a scam--someone looking to harvest your private information pretending to be a mortgage loan company.  Recorded robocalls are illegal in many states unless you've actually done business with the company, so you can report them to the FTC, FCC, and your county and state's attorney general.

Calls constantly. Filed a complaint at donotcall.gov - don't know if this does any good. So tired of this caller. Called as we sitting down to dinner. We do not answer to anyone we do not know and we don't need a mortgage from this caller.

They called 4:45pm on 11/09/10. I answered no one answered. But they were breathing on the other end. Caller ID jusdt read Maryland no more.

I saw this # on my caller ID as Cell Phone MD.  Well, I don't know anyone in MD & figured it had to be a BS call.  I checked this website & it confirmed it.  I called the number to see if I could be taken off the call list, but I got the "This number is not in service, please check the # & dial a***n."  Meanwhile, I'm blocking the call on my phone anyway.

Comes up as a local Maryland number.  Claims to be Jim White and can lower or refinance your interest rate.  Push 1 to speak to a someone and 2 to have your number removed.  Yeah right.  I pushed one to chew someone out.  A foreign guy answered.. I said, "Yes I am on the do not call list and..."  He ***g up.  A$%hole.

Some buffoon calling, calling, calling, **** up, **** up, **** up.  ID comes in up Maryland.  Do Not Call list is a joke.  Even making formal complaints doesn't help.  Time to unplug the b**s**** out of the wall and only use it when I want to.

Automated phone call from Jim White - Federal Mortgage Services. I'm on the Do Not Call List....so since this idiot was so kind to leave his "name", I'll report this to the FTC.

First it's a recorded message about the feds lowering the interest rate and to click 1 for more info. When I did a guy answered, I asked what the company name was, he said Financial Advisors, I then asked where he was located, he said Baltimore MD, I asked for a phone number there and he ***g up. I've had calls from this shyster group in the past but the recording was telling me in an urgent voice there was a problem with one of my credit card balances and it was important that I talk to someone immediately. I clicked to speak to a rep, acting just as urgent as their message, asking which credit card. When the guy asked for my social security number I asked him for his. Then explained I wasn't some ***pkin and knew about scams and this sounded like one. S****ed to refresh him on telemarketing laws, like identifying the company, providing a call number, etc and the guy ***g up on me. A few calls more from that group with me always clicking to speak to someone, I would tell them to remove my name or it was going to the state's attorney general. It quit. Now they are back with a new scam. This time it showed this phone number on my caller id, but shows as a cell phone, but when i called it back there was a recording that the number was no longer in service. And trying to find these ****s by sear****g for Financial Advisors is a dead end.

It's a guy named Jim White offering some sort of mortgage refinancing scam.

Phone call listed as "OUT OF AREA" they **** up when I answered. I call the number back and the recording says "NOT IN SERVICE". This happens quite often.
