Leave a CommentThis is getting pretty funny to me! I received a call about 3 weeks ago from some so called company. He said that I owed money from a internet loan. All the same information stated above. Today I just received a voice mail on my cell phone. He said that he was Officer Darrin McCoy of Dept of Loan Investigation. Then I received a call on my work phone. I told him that I didn't owe him a dime, I don't see how they sleep, I've reported him to the FBI and I hope they catch him!! This is crazy that these idiots get away with this!! I've reported the numbers, but I guess they are hiding in some hole somewhere!! Also, the number that showed on the phone caller id was 205-307-5330,but he left a different call back number
The exact scenario happened with me as well all this officers "anthony, neil and jim" used to call me and tell me that they are from FBI and Oklahama attorney generals office they even dont know the position, powers and functioning of the attorney generals they are totally unprofessional they dont even have the common knowledge that attorneys dont abuse over a call. They even cannot speak proper english, I even doubt that they are calling us from our country, "****** ****s" they speak in a typicall heavy accent(basically people from indian subcontinent have that accent)
I just had the exact same phone call. EXACTLY and he called me at work. What should i do, should i file a police report because I don't have an attorney?
A David Williams called and left a very unclear message I was only able to get the actual number that I needed to call because the number that showed up on caller ID was so****ing did not even resemble an actual phone number. I returned their phone call and the man stated that there was lawsuit that he had my file. Well come to find out he had the wrong number. The man apologized but I was kinda weirded out about the whole thing in the first place. Now I know that this is not a good phone call.
same as above. I think the reason they didn't get rude this time is that they are beginning to recognize me and my number. And that I am telling the truth about my attorney. i tell them the same thing every time and also, every time, read off the names of the "attorneys" and "officers" that have called before. I think they are realizing that I will not put up with their rudeness and will cuss them out. They are realizing that I am not falling for it. I think our numbers are on some sort of automatic dialer so they don't even know whose number they're phone dialed until they answer it. Otherwise, I think some of us would have been taken off the list. However, I could definitely be wrong. They maybe have figured out that I will not give in to someone who is being rude and are trying a new tactic. Eventually, maybe they'll figure out that I refuse to pay off any non-existent debts. I require actual, physical proof of this debt.
Same amanda as above. It's getting weirder now. I got a cal a***n today and answered it. It was a "Roger Johnson". He put me through to his "chief" who, ironically, sounded exactly the same. I could also hear other conversations so it was obviously a call center. Anyway, he read me off the usual spill but did not give an amount. He said the company I owed to was Cash Advance. Seriously. I swear that's what he said. He asked me what I intend to do about it. Not rudely this time though. I said i don't believe I owe this debt and have never received any proof from "Roger Johnson", "Mark Wilson", "Officer Johnson" (some of the alias' they have used before) and that I could give him my attorney's phone number. He said ok and took down my dad's number (supposedly). He then asked me if I am a student (which I am at Oklahoma State University) and what I am studying. Totally off subject. I told him marketing and asked what that has to do with anything. I swear he went on and on about how is daughter (i think that's what he said) is studying marketing in India! But he never said more than what she's supposedly studying and where. I kept asking what this had to do with anything and he very politely said he just wanted me to know that he has a daughter studying marketing in India. This is definitely a new trick! He never said anything about how much I supposedly owe or what state I am being sued in. The conversation actually ended politely with him saying "Good luck with your studies and future endeavors. I will be calling your ***her". This definitely a new twist. I bet he was googling my dad's name and phone number during the daughter conversation (he seemed a little distant during some of it) and realized I was telling the truth. I bet he doesn't call dad. On second thought, I DARE HIM TO CALL MY ATTORNEY/***HER! I have been keeping dad up on these and he'll not only reem this guy's a** but try everything to actually get some real information so maybe could do so****ing about it.
I got a call from a guy don't remember his name, just that i was going to go to jail if i didn't address the matter at hand. But he wouldn't give me any real information. So i said are you from a PD(police Department) cause he kept saying law and investigation department. I have lived overseas and that is how they describe law enforcement over there. he had no idea what i meant when i said PD. I laughed and told him he was full of SH**. he called back and s****ed getting nasty i just kept laughing at him and told him it would be more productive if he spoke english. He ***g up and that was about 2 weeks ago. Give them back as good as they get don't take any of they're ****.
This is the biggest load of creep I'v ever heard in my life. His name was officer Robert(He did not give me a last name). He had a heavy accent, possibly from India. He threatened me multiple times with legal action and told me I could pay his attorney through any wal-mart. They use this scare tactic to see if you might actually pay them money for the fear of getting yourself into any financial problems. I been a police officer for 5 years and can smell bu***hit when I hear it. For verification I even called some offical paydayloan companies and they all said this was a fake. They said without any do***entation don't give them any info. So just think of it as a prank call.
Had this happen this morning! Supposedly for a payday loan on the internet and that I would have a court date in Pennsylvania (i live in texas) and that I had to send money right away or be sued! Could not understand what he said his name was!
Ha!!! I got a call from this guy as well, except he told me he was Officer Jim Williams. I had a bad connection and couldn't understand him and asked to be transfered to some one state side and he said I was trying to run from this and then said "I want to f*** you, did you understand that?" then he said "your mother is a b***h, did you understand that?" I ***g up on him and called the company he was claiming to represent and they took a report from me and and said not to give them any information then I filed a police report.
here it is 2 days later and they haven't called back. I did call my dad about and he told me to try to get an address out of the guy. He knows it's total bu***hit but wanted the address to file so****ing about it (you can't just use a phone number and name; so****ing actually has to be sent). I am not sure exactly what he would file for, though. He just said he would need an address (real or imaginary lol) to file anything. I called "Officer Neil Johnson" back to try to get the address and he kept asking why do you need it. After about four or five "why do you need it", I laughed and, when he said are you laughing at me, I said "hell yes." He said see you in court monday and ***g up. *******. Not only is my ***her an attorney, but my sister just graduated from law school and my other sister is marrying a cop.
same exact thing happened to me today!! the guy addressed himself as officer anthony hamilton. this guy is going down!!
Got a call from this number; they did leave a message saying it was "Officer Neil Johnson" (yeah right), who, for some reason, had a very heavy accent. He said that I needed to call him back immediately for a legal matter. I did call back and he said I am being sued in Pennsylvania for defaulting on an internet loan. I have been getting calls like this for months now but they keep c****ing numbers and names. He read off some ****** affidavit but refused to give the name of the loan company or the date I supposedly took it out. I am not exactly sure why, but he kept mentioning the Oklahoma Attorney General (I live in Oklahoma).I told him that my ***her is an attorney and would be handling any kind of legal matters and tried to give him my ***her's name and number. He rudely stated that he did not need to talk to my ***her, my mother, or my grand***her (there were curse words involved) and told me to either pay up or contact my attorney. I repeated that my ***her is my attorney. He then rudely stated "So that gives you the right to break the law?!" (yelling at me at this point). Then he said just be ready for court Monday and ***g up. I am going to get my dad to call them then see what happens
