JScott303 I too recieved a call from an individual who identified himself as "Leo Hernandez". He stated that he was calling from the Financial Crime Investigation department and to inform that there were 3 complaints filed a***nst me in Federal court alledging several counts of check fraud and theft for a loan that I alledgedly recieved, but failed to pay back. This appears to be their M-O, they call and try to frighten you into believing that you will face garnishment or arrest if you do not pay them money to clear up their false claim. The facts are these and can be verified by visiting ftc.gov...search for Fair Debt Collection.First of all, the caller must identify themselves and upon request, disclose contact information, i.e. address and phone number. "Leo" stated that he did not have an address or phone number...as if I were to believe he was not in a physical building speaking to me on a working phone.Secondly, the caller must provide written verification of the debt in question upon request. "15 or 16 emails" do not count as written correspondence.Third, a creditor can not legally arrest you nor can they garnish wages unless allowed by a court order. They may sue you of course if you fail to pay a legimate loan. But then they file with a court and you will be served with a formal summons to appear. So do not give them any person information more than they already have. Call their bluff, if they threaten to arrest you...then tell them you will wait for the police....if they threaten to sue you...then tell them you will wait for the court papers to arrive. Chances are they will **** up and nothing will ever happen to you.Finally...according to FTC regulation regarding Fair Debt Collection, a debt collector cannot threaten harm, nor can they threaten to arrest, nor can they use foul or abusive language. If any of these occur, it is likely a dead give away that they are criminals attempting to frighten you for money...

Beyond Pissed Off I got a phone call from this company who said my social security number is blocked by the US Government. The caller had a heavy Indian accent and he threatened my life. I blocked my phone number and returned the call. I told the person who answered that I know here they are calling from and I was coming over there to cut him up into little pieces so that I could feed my pet alligator. I don't think they will call back.He said he was from the Law Investigation Department, there is no such company

I had a call from this man with a very heavy accent from Indian, saying he was calling on behalf of Financial Cash Advance and then the threats s****ed. They were getting read to sign an order to prosecute and this and that and read this script of basically how bad I was to take this money and not pay it back. I think I was so in shock I sat and listened.  I told him oh I get paid monday (he called on 1/11 and no number but I looked at my called ID. He wanted me to go to Moneygram and get a prepaid debit card and jump  through all these hoops to get the info on them so they could get their money. I told him O could pay $100 on the 12th. But I didn't they call from the 412-360-7849 number two times a day. IO don't answer. The number he gave me rto call back is 267-690-9318. Have called the 267 number but just get a recording that the person at extension 50026 os not available is all you get. I was freaked all day and was stressed just because how they acted. Then realized when has anyone been arrested for not paying a bill.so watch for the 412-360-7839 numbers.

This is getting pretty funny to me! I received a call about 3 weeks ago from some so called company. He said that I owed money from a internet loan. All the same information stated above. Today I just received a voice mail on my cell phone. He said that he was Officer Darrin McCoy of Dept of Loan Investigation. Then I received a call on my work phone. I told him that I didn't owe him a dime, I don't see how they sleep, I've reported him to the FBI and I hope they catch him!! This is crazy that these idiots get away with this!! I've reported the numbers, but I guess they are hiding in some hole somewhere!! Also, the number that showed on the phone caller id was 205-307-5330,but he left a different call back number

i got the same thing as all above that my social security number was blocked and my address was blocked...how can u block an address? and he had all of my bank account info...

They called and left no message.  Do not know who this is.
