I dont know who this might be, but Ive been recieving alot of calls from the same area code (415) that are unidentified / unknown numbers . For about two weeks now a sudden major uptick in calls like this from 415 area code. Someone must be giving my # out to them !!!

These are SPAMMERS big time! Saying they are from the IRS and have a case a***nst you and you have to pay now or face arrest immediately! SUCH FREAKS!!!

This number is being given by a robotic voice stating they are an officer from IRS.

Same thing happened to me only they claimed to be the US Governent. The voice was all echo and creepy. The guys English was extremely broken. He's definitely not a part of the US Governent. I'm actually curious as to whether he was a legal US citizen!

RD Keep getting calls from this number. If I answer no one there. If I try to call back get a "this number not in service" message.

Waited till three rings before answering. I answered only to hear garbled voices in the background, but no answer from the caller.

Call every min if you don't answer they keep calling.

Dan-holio Called all the time nothing/no one on the other end of the line. Submitted the number to Sprint to block all calls from this number. No worries, no calls now that the number is blocked.

unkkow Caller ID shows CALPAL - CaIlifornia Police Activities League. Probably a contracted fund raiser. I do not wanted call.

CT I keep getting calls from NCO, but they are s****ing to come from different numbers and area codes now.They never leave a message....but they WON'T stop calling.I have NEVER had a Capital One account, and I have never used "Bill Me Later" -- both of these things I've seen posted on sites about why NCO would be calling.I have been filing complaints on the Do Not Call website every time I get one of these calls. I HOPE others will file the complaints as well!I wish they would leave me alone!

Ryan I also live in MN and have been receiving these calls from the Star Tribune. I had already declined offers from this number. About 3 weeks ago they s****ed calling a***n, up to 3 times per day.

I have told this company several times to not call, they don't listen filing a complaint with BBB and aatorneu Generals office in Ohio and California

This same recording ended up in my voice mail many times, and I noticed that this happened IMMEDIATELY after I (******ly!) responded to this ad for "Free Apple Laptop Giveaway."  I know better, but why in the heck I did it?  I have no idea...  Just having a ****** moment there, I suppose.But... here is what I will leave as a "golden nugget" for all of you--in order to avoid my ****** pitfall-- DO NOT RESPOND TO THOSE FLASHING ADS!  They are nothing but a scam to get your personal info, I strongly believe!  So, everybody... learn from my mistake.  If you like, that is.  ;-)
