Anonymous Scammers

Jeanne received a call from this number and it said in caller ID Missouri caller. Left no message. Right after that I s****ed to get phone calls twice a day from 417-800-2538 caller ID says "NOT IN USE" When I did a reverse look up this number is also from Missouri. It looks as if they are passing numbers around. No message on either calls. It is getting annoying.

sandi I also received a call after posting a home for sale on Craig's List.  They said they work with all sorts of clients who want to buy houses and wanted to know more about the house, how motivated (1-10) I am to sell and how much we owe on it.  I said it was none of his business and he said it is public record so my telling him would just save him time of checking it.  Actually, mortgages are public, but the current amount due is not.  He got huffy when I refused and said if I c****ed my mind to call back.  I don't know if it was a **** who wants to take advantage of people in foreclosure or if it is worse than that.
