Caller seemed to be very aggressive, would not answer my questions of how they got my number, and they ended up ****ing up on me. TWICE. They called me two times within 10 minutes.

First off, being on the DNC list won't help. It's use is voluntary and there is no enforcement behind it. Do this instead of freaking out. First, report the spammer to the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints Next, create a form letter addressed to your senators - both of them - and your representative complaining about the spammer and the lack of enforcement. Sent them off every time you get a spam call. Then create a form email addressed to both senators and your representative. Fire one off every time you get a spam call. Be sure to include any Caller ID info you get. In both cases, use your real name and address. The legislators need to know that you are a voter and registered in their state and district. Otherwise, their mail-chimps just toss the letters. One voter letter = over 100 anonymous complaints.

Pull up the missed call, select your edit ****on, add them to your REJECT LIST and then delete the number. End of problem.

I just said "sure, just drop it off at my house" and **** up. they have no idea who or where we are. Sometimes I say "I'll buy anything you are selling if you can tell me my name", they always **** up. I am on all kinds of no call lists and they still call. Isn't there some law about this? I kept a guy calling from India on about 20 minutes (background noise indicated India), kept calling him back and said that I would tie up his phone lines for hours every day unless he stopped texting me. He stopped.

They have been calling for about a month ... I never pick up and am on a "Do Not Call List" ... Apparently, this list is worthless .... Get this type of call all the time from several other numbers. Anyone have any ideas of how we can stop receiving these types of calls ??? Totally annoying !!!

Hey everyone! There's no point in discussing HOW these leeches got your number, or the Do Not Call List, since none of that is enforced. Did u ever post an ad on Craigslist with your phone number, or give it to someone who answered your ad? Never give your number to anyone online that hasn't given their contact info simultaneously. Or give your number to anyone you met on a dating site online? or through email? How about a receptionist at a medical office? or minimum wage sales people at a store? Well, there are many people out there who's sole purpose in life is to collect / harvest phone numbers and email addresses, with the intent of selling them to telemarketers for a profit. You will get harassing phone calls, and spam texts/emails 24x7 if you are careless with your contact info. Telemarketers c****e their Business name/address/owner name so often, it's impossible to catch them. Do not pick up the phone when they call, since this just confirms your number, and tells their auto-dialing computer they have a live body to harass. Do not try to reason with them, since they have no other source of income, job s****s, education, or real friends, so they don't care. They are desperate, and this is the way they survive. There is only one way to put these creeps out of business up to now. Get rid of your landline, or use it for outgoing calls only. Forward all incoming calls from your landline to your cell phone. Download a sophisticated voicemail program to your smart cell phone such as 'YouMail', in combination with the 'W****eYou' app, and learn how to use them. Then, one by one, use the Ditch feature to permanently tag all the numbers who call you repeatedly, and send them down the sewer drain. You won't hear from them a***n, since this all happens in the background. There are also devices you can hook to your landline / home phone which do a similar selective flushing of unwanted calls.Some telemarketers will sense you are doing this, and hit you from another phone, but you simply add that phone to the list, and eventually they are dead in the water. They only have a certain amount of 800 type numbers, and they have to pay for each of them. If enough people do this, these sharks will not be able to stay in business much longer, since everything is swit****g away from landlines to smart cell phones now anyway. Their days are numbered as technology improves.

Just s****ed getting calls from this number (4253908126) on my cell phone, three plus times a day, No one talks if pick up the phone and don't leave a message if don't pick up. Called them back, no one say a word. My phone is listed in the do not call registry.

this number called me twice today, i was unable to answer. i called back later on, it rang, and after about 30 seconds, a recording came on, which said the name of the company, and gave me the option to "press 1" to be taken off of their call list.. hopefully it works!

Have gotten lots and lots of calls from this number, never answered. Just tried to call the number, got a busy signal. Maybe defunct now? Had another number star calling me all the time from this same area in Seattle, just called and pushed ****on to be added to do not call list. Hopefully that will take care of that! Waste of time and completely annoying!

Try this when they call. Answer the phone, let them go through their spiel and tell them you're interested is seeing what they have to offer. When their local rep comes to your home, keep him/her explaining things over and over a***n and when they quote you a price, tell them it's too expensive and you have decided a***nst it! If enough people do this, the LOCAL reps will drop their affiliation with the company.

I have been registered on the do not call list for 2 years. I am receiving a call from this number on my cell phone 3 to 4 times per day.

I've been reporting each and every call at the Do Not Call Registry complaint form. This is ridiculous. I don't answer, but I'm getting calls 2x a day.

Yep I just got one too, I should have ignored it but I answered. I'm certain if you answer it will automatically call back more often. So much for the do not call list.

Finally had enough of these calls from Renton. Still getting calls from them even after following their do not call instructions. Sent a copy of my itemized cell phone bill to attorney general in Florida and Washington.

I had several missed calls from this number with no message. Then I answered twice and it was a salesman for home security system. I said no right away, The second time I answered I advised I already told you no...stop calling me. I just got another missed call from this number today. I have called to be put on the do not call list. Hopefully that will work.

I never answer a caller who is not in my address book. I check new callers on my computer. If it is someone I NEVER want to talk to, I add them all to my address book with names like "No no", "do not answer", "loser"....then I don't bother answering the phone...EVER...

These people callerID from Renton, WA have called 4 times in the past 3 days; the 2 times when they talked their inquiry as on home ownership, security, and alarm systems; appears to be warning for****ential home burglary; the DoNotCall folks should either do so****ing about these complaints, or admit they don't have *****s and be disbanded so DoNotCall tax dollars can be used elsewhere.

They've been calling four times a day...robo callers should be **** in the face.

I've lost count of how many calls I've gotten from these people. Called asking if I wanted a security system. I told them I was busy and couldn't talk and the guy just said, "that's good to hear" or so****ing like that. Told them no and ***g up.

Trying to sell home alarm systems. Losers don't understand the do not call list and the "do not call me ever a***n or else" list. This is why ADT, Monitronics, Brinks, et al are the worst thing to happen to the alarm industry ever. Just say no to these national alarm farms and only deal with your local alarm companies.

@ JW, I believe we all need to do just that! Report these criminals beginning with the Sac County Sheriff's Dept. and work our way up. I have a list of all the know Caller ID names and numbers they have used in calling my number repeatedly as well as each other number they have used in the past when calling me. I also know that placing their number on call screen doesn't work... so far, since I tried that, they have managed to get through about12 times!!!! There's just way too many of these criminals that are allowed to run loose without any government or local agencies (that would normally handle such matters) lifting a finger!!!!

So far, since these lowlife's first s****ed calling I have filed about 30 total complaints a***nst them to the donotcall registry and about almost 10 each to the FTC, FCC and even both to the IC3.gov site and the BBB! These a**holes obviously don't give a d*mn about the laws and blatantly violate them!!! THis bunch is also known scammers!!! SO****ING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS BS!!!! @ JW you are correct about these people. they are not calling to sell you an alarm, they are trying to find out if you have one. I have received many calls from them, the one time I did answer a ghetto black chick asked if I had an alarm in my home. I said yes I do, many of them. and if you come anywhere near my house I will **** your head off with one of them. and btw...pressing one only encourages them to call you more by confirming they have reached a legitimate phone line because they roto-dail.

I don't know who these people are but they have scared my wife to the point that she is very frightened and we suspect our house is being surveillance for a possible home invasion. We have reported it to the Sacramento County Sheriff and are taking further steps to ensure our safety. We have contacted our law firm to investigate with the goal of implementing a restraining order. We suggest others take similar steps. These people have called us nearly everyday and have caused my wife and our family great emotional and ******logical harm. One way or another, it will stop!

They are definitely spam callers. If you call the number back you can opt out of receiving future calls. Call the number and press one and you can be removed from their "preferred marketing list"
