Get this phonenumber away
Recieved this call on 16 Dec 2011 at 3:12 PM CST. Claim to be able to reduce credit card fees. When I pressed "1" to talk to a customer service agent, ****s up on you. I called the number and recording states "welcome to the automated call registery...phone directory number. Presss "1" to enter your number and this will stop any further calls from our customers... Enough said. This company does not even know who they are leasing their own lines to. PHISHING! Do not respond for youer sake.
It is likely a collection agency that purchased your debt from any number of people you may owe money to. You can choose to ignore them or make arrangements to pay it at a reduced rate. Of course they are there to make a profit and will push for the entire amount plus accrued interest. You have no way of knowing what they paid for the debt, nor do they, since it is probably bundled with debt from a lot of people like us. I have one that I chose to ignore and now need to go to court to plead my poverty and hope to have the court reduce the obligation. If they get a judgement then they can attach your wages, if you have any in these troubled times. Some of the people that call from these businesses can be quite rude indeed, like it was there money; well, in a way it is they may be on some quota and if they don't meet it then they are out the door. Just don't argue with them, **** up. They'll call back and it may be a more pleasant person that you can actually have a conversation with.

called and left not message - did not answer call
They called, so I pressed 1 to give them a piece of my mind, but they ***g up before I could speak. This is the 4th unsolicited call I've reported from this company. Tried calling back and the automated system supposedly states they are the DNC list and asks you to enter your phone number to stop the calls. Sham!
I received the call on my cell, but I was away from my phone and didn't answer. The reason these calls come even though you are on the Do Not Call registry is because the companies use auto dialers. As soon as the digits of your phone number come up, you are called. It doesn't matter what list you are on. Follow the advice of everyone else: don't give out personal information unless you initiate the phone conversation. Have the company send you an email or give you their phone number so you can have time to think.
Pretend like they're a credit card company ("this is card member services"), but do not say for what card. I spoke to an operator, directly asked to be removed from their list, and was met with an immediate ****up. I've received at least 4 calls from them.

There was dead air and the voice mail recorded number 4253908134 which is a number in Washington State. I don't know anyone there myself so I won't be dialing the number.
So much scamming. Seems to get worse every week
Wanted to lower credit card debt, provided that I had over $10,000 total debt. They are scammers, and I'm sick of scammers. They are lucky that they are located so far from me, or else I would open up a can of Whoop**** on them!

I was in my car, so didn't see the number on my cell. The call was bluetoothed to my car, I answered, there was no reply, I said*****o? a***n, still no response, so I ***g up.
I just received this call with a recording stating that they were from cardholder services and wanted to lower my interest rates. I immediately ***g up. My number is on the Do Not Call List so I filed a complaint with them. https://www.donotcall.gov
Asked to be placed on their do not call list and they ***g up right away.
Called cellphone. ***g up when I answered.
Called and when I answered they ***g up.
Originally it was a recording stating that they were calling from cardholder services and wanted to offer to lower my interest rates. I dialed 1 to get through to the person to get them to remove me from their calling list…knowing that no bank would ever call on the phone and request personal information for this purpose. When I told the woman that I didn’t trust to do this over the phone, but she was more than welcome to send me information in the mail, she went off on me. Some of the things that she said were: “That is really sad that you live your life like that. Not everyone that calls is out to get you.” “Your character is horrible.” “You are an awful person. You should be ashamed of yourself for not trusting.” “I hope you lose your job and end up on welfare.” Then when I asked why she was treating me so horrible, she said “I’m giving you the same treatment you are giving me.” (Yeah right….) I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she said “I AM THE SUPERVISER.” I told her that no supervisor would speak to a ‘customer’ the way she was speaking to me. She threatened to **** up several times, but never did. The only way I could get her off of the phone was to **** up on her. A very upsetting and abusive phone call. Please remember….no bank, credit card, etc will ever call you on your phone and ask for personal information. If you feel that it might be legit, ask them for the phone number to call them back at and for information to be sent in the mail.
