The text had only one word—“hey” I have received that message before. I feel it is connected to some scam.
This was a fraudulent call attempting to get my CC# by selling me an extended warranty for my car.
Just got a call from 506-227-4563 (per Caller I.D.). Message said so****ing about this was their final call and it was about my car warranty, which is dumb since both my cars are old and both warranties have long expired. They said to stay on the line for a rep. which I decided to do for the moment thinking that I would tell them they are calling illegally since they are obviously telemarketers and I am on the "Do Not Call" list. With no response after 45 seconds I ***g up. This is obviously a scam, a telemarketer, an illegal operation. Calling from Ca***a, I guess they don't have to honor the USA's "Do Not Call" list --- sure gives Ca***a a bad reputation...
Received call on my cell today 18 Feb. 2009
Today, 2/23/09, received a call to "reduce my credit card interest rates" since I am such a valued customer and I have been making timely payments. I asked what card this is for, the reply was "for your Visa/MasterCard". I said that I have more than one they'd need to be more specific... and they ***g up. I did not attempt to call the number back.

Received a call from this number. I did not recognize the number so I didn't answer the phone.
Does anybody else getting calls from this number?
BS about 'lower interest rates'. Repeated calls despite no call list and explicit request to remove number.
