Leave a CommentI've received this call several times, and every time I ask the person (some guy named Jacob Daily?)to identify their company, they **** up. I suggest everyone here file a complaint with the FTC.
Didn't answer intime.Tried to call back, but recording says number "isn't****igned"
They call me daily, telling me they can lower my interest rates. It doesn't help to press #2 to get removed from their list. They'll still call. If you press #1 and kindly ask them to remove your number, they rudely **** up on you. At one point, I told them that I don't have any credit cards, hoping that would deter then from calling but they still call. My husband said to not let them get me so upset, to have fun with them. We came up with a little game that I like to play with these *****s. I act like I want their services and play along. They ask how much credit card debt I have. I make up a number between $50K-$100K. They ask how much interest rate do I pay now? I say "Around 20%". They ask if all my accounts are in good standing. I say "Yes". They tell me I qualify for their program and all they need is the 800# off the back of one of my cards to verify that I am in good standing. I tell them to hold on while I go grab it out of my purse. I put the phone down and go about my business. You'd be surprised how long these ******s will hold the line. Sometimes as long as FIVE minutes! Maybe it's not nice to do but I played nicely and they didn't honor my request of being removed from their call list so they can suffer as I have been, especially when they wake up my sleeping baby. My husband said I should get back on the phone and tell them the phone number on the back of the card is 1-800-eff-off" or so****ing to that effect. I think the next time they call, I will. ;-)
The recorded message said "This is an important message about your credit card..." I've tried to block this but they use a different number.
I am PO'd! I'm disabled and by the time I got to the phone and picked up it was a freakin recording saying that they could lower my interest rate, whatever that means. These people called me before. I don't want to call them back and tell them to stop calling me because then I'd have a long distance charge on my phone bill. How do I get them to STOP calling me?!
I received a call from this number and I don't even have credit cards.
Caller ID said "cell phone" and I answered it. The recorded message said it was an important call regarding my car insurance expiring and that I needed to push "1" to speak with an agent. Despite reservations, I did. After a hold, she asked me which car I was calling about, and like an idiot, I told her my car type. Then she asked me if I had gotten a postcard, to which I answered no, and then she ***g up. I don't know what malice they can do with my car type, but I am furious about this.

CREDIT CARD SCAM IF YOU CALL THIS NUMBER IT'S NOT A VALID NUMBER?
Din't leave a message on land phone;this was first time. Caller ID showed New Brunswick. I called back from my cell phone, and message stated that number is not listed.
I work from a home office and I receive this call everyday at the same time from these people. I have no credit card issues. I go ahead and push 1 to be able to talk to someone. I ask them to take me off of thier call list because they are waisting time for both of us and to let them know I am on the no call list. They just **** up right away. This is begining to boarder on harrasment and I'm going to look to press charges or just go up to New Brunswick and punch someone in the face.
guessing a scam also got a call left no message
The recorded message said "This is an important message about your credit card..." I receive one or more of these calls every day on my cell phone.
Caller ID indicates the call is coming from New Brunswick. Left message saying they have tried to reach me several times (they have) and this is my last opportunity to lower the rate on my credit cards. I don't carry any balances on my credit cards. This is obviously a phishing scam to get you to give them your card numbers. Please don't talk to these ***ople, and certainly do not give them or anyone else your card numbers or other personal information!!!
Did not answer phone. Immediately after this one I got a call from 506-227-4566. Caller ID only says New Brunswick. Because they are in Ca***a, our Do Not Call Lists are not valid. I don't answer my phone unless I know who is calling.
The recorded messafge said they could lower my credit card rates. I pressed "1" but ***ody answered.
