This person claimed to want to buy an item I had listed for sale! They asked if they could send a code to prove I was not fake, the code came from google, said it was a google voice code! They buyer repeatedly asked me to give them the 6 digit code, even after the text says, “Do not share with anyone!”

They knew my address and last 4 of my social security number and wanted me to verify it but wouldn’t verify where they were calling from until I verified first. When I wouldn’t they said thank you and ***g up.

not the IRS IRS? more like FAKE 'r Us Called from this number multiple times today. Caller is a computer generated voice, claiming to be IRS and that the IRS is about to file lawsuit a***nst me. FAKE! The IRS does not s**** tax payment issues with a phone call, let alone the first attempts as phone calls claiming to file lawsuit a***nst a person. When the IRS finds it must sue, they just do it. Many steps are involved before that decision, the least of which would be physical do***entation delivered. I am not sure what would happen if you call this number back, but I can imagine nothing good. The least problem you would have is your call-back number listed as a gullible recipient.
